Brilliant social skills app with video for context
Other apps use illustrations to teach body language and figurative language but this app uses brief video scenarios which requires students to perceive tone of voice, body language and idioms in a real life way. Love the options to allow no answers displayed and then provide multiple choice answers if needed. Love this app!

Essential
Please continue to update all the Between the Lines apps. Level One still is crashing for me, and I’m having video issues with Advanced. I really depend on these.
Must Have
I have used this app for years and believe it is a “must have” if you are an SLP working with the adolescent to adult population. The videos are short and keep attention long enough to discuss and work through responses.
Need to update
I love using this app, but recently it has not been working because it needs to be updated to work with iOS 12. Please update the app!
Enjoying this app
Please add more scenarios. I use it with a high school student who struggles with expressing his thoughts.
Love it!
As a speech language pathologist with a number of middle school age students on the spectrum this app is invaluable. I like the three areas in which skills are concentrated, and running it as a pretest allows me to see more specifically wherein their deficits lie. It is definitely age appropriate, and as it says in the description, not a program in and of itself to improve social skills and perspective taking, but gives good scenarios and situations which can then be explained thru further discussion. Technology is always a better attention getter than paper and pencil tasks, and sometimes role playing is just too abstract. Great app!
