Very surprising
It’s a meditation in sense, but it’s also a unique walk inward. I don’t know how else to explain how interesting this app as been so far. I just experienced the flood and have a lot of reflective thoughts.

I watched a bunch of YouTube videos one of the creaters made and found them resonant. I have CPTSD and Religious Trama. I've done 3 dream scape exercises and I reflect on them and find them helpful. I'm about to go into the 4th.
Enlightening
The detailed chronological story line captivates the subconscious and shakes very stubborn and outdated self beliefs out of place and puts them on trial confronting self with tender love and care. A well done inquisitive and introspective introduction to yourself. I found the app through their YouTube videos, I highly esteem both their public videos as well as the more intimate mythology of self and Jungian psychology of the app. 10/10

Lovely, enlightening, and beautiful
As a very self-aware, reflective person, I had my doubts that a silly “choose your own adventure” type story app would do anything for me. But I found it truly enlightening at times, the way it phrases things so simply yet digs deep into your roots with every question. If nothing else, it forces a sort of active meditation as you use the app that is at once relaxing and clarifying. I always come out of it feeling, if not at peace (because sometimes it forces you to confront unsettling aspects of yourself or your life), then definitely feeling more at one with myself and with a better understanding of who I am and why.

Hope is the Greatest Gift
Betwixt has given me something I struggled to find, the ability to be present in uncomfortableness while having hope that it is just happening right now. The ability to stop, recognize I am not in a good space and know that it is going to be different at a different point in time is amazing. The app helps me at work when I get really stressed. I can take a break, sit on a bench outside, and put my headphones on while I walk through a dream sequence. It reinforces to be in the moment and because there are choices available in the app, I am reminded I have choices in the moment. The sequences also help remind me that everything is changing all the time and this moment will change. I am very grateful for the app and also the videos on YouTube. I think this is the first review I have ever left and it is very heartfelt. I am so grateful I have access to the app!

Great for sorting yourself out some.
I wouldn’t say it replaces a therapist, but it’s game play creates a safe quiet space where you explore a few complexities. Great if feeling are a scary subject you don’t like to deal with directly as well.
Magical journey
Even though I’m a veteran of years of psychotherapy, Betwixt helped me in a brand new and largely unconscious way. The pacing, the art and the way each step of the journey built on itself was brilliant. I was the lucky participant of a sponsored trip and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Beautiful

A Wonderful, Engaging Way to Process Your Troubles
I process a lot of things narratively, and this app was exactly what I needed to work through some hard times and negative perceptions about myself. It has these really beautiful stories that are very comforting and engaging, and nudge you to dig into yourself at a pace you're comfortable with, so that you can process parts of your life and your thoughts and yourself. It helped me when I needed it, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is having a rough go of it and doesn't know where to start!

Very eye opening and insightful
Honestly I get really distracted and tend to not focus on meditations or exercises like these but Betwixt has held my attention like nothing else and has been incredibly helpful. Highly recommend and I’m very happy to have found it! The YouTube channel also is incredibly informative and I find myself returning to both this app and the videos often!

This app is priceless!
I love this app! It takes me out of my situation, the description of imagery is outstanding and the soundtrack is what really takes me away! After listening, I feel grounded and capable of handling the stress in my life. I do love this app! And each time you listen, it’s a different experience. Beautifully insightful
I loved the different paths this mental journey can take you on. It def helped unlock some feelings I couldn’t put my finger on. Beautifully written storytelling that incorporated my life’s experiences as it asked personal questions to help me understand how to overcome some mental blocks. My only critique would be that they allow for a continuous flow rather than start back at the beginning but perhaps that’s just the current version. I hope they grow as well!

Ten points for advertising
The reality - a lot of filler. Absolute entry level self exploration. In this age, only a few beginners might get something out of this. It is NOT a choose your own adventure, it's just a form filling exercise. The first three chapters were like a subscription sales landing page. Constant "wow, you're going to get a lot out of this" kind of thing.
The most irritating thing was the sound design. Way too much volume variation. On the lowest volume setting I had to mute a few times when a dramatic (eye roll) moment happened and the volume became unacceptable.

Un-Stuck!
Edit to add: can’t use on iPad, works on my phone…I cannot review because I cannot get past the pages that say “why you’ll love Betwixt.” The pages lead nowhere, I’m not drawn into a dream/story, nor given the option to sign up. I’ve deleted/reinstalled, ensured my iOS is up to date, searched for advice, and am leaving this here as an SOS as your website doesn’t have a contact-us option… hoping to update review after I can experience the app!
