Not working
I download this app a couple of years ago (it was free) and found it useful. It stopped working about a year ago, so I removed it. I saw there were updates, so downloaded it again; now the app says I can’t use it unless I have a BEVA membership. I have never had a BEVA membership and I don’t think it would be useful to our practice in Canada. This is the second app from this author that has changed to either a membership or subscription without prior notice.

This App is exclusive for BEVA members - and has been since the day of its release. If you had access at one point without BEVA membership, it was clearly a bug which has been fixed. Our paid version of this App, Equine Drugs, has been changed to subscription to support the frequent database updates, improved features and updating for new phones and iOS versions. Those who already had the App received all database updates without subscription in 2018, along with a warning that it was changing to subscription in 2019. Equine vets are a relatively small market and the alternative to changing to subscription was not to update the App at all, which would mean it would become incompatible with new phones and new operating systems.
