Fun and Nostalgic

I remember playing a game with a gravity like mechanic long ago on iPhone but has been off the App Store for awhile - definitely love the progression system and would love to see more use of this mechanic! More themes for the background would be a great addition like โ€˜8-bitโ€™ style or different colors.

Thanks for the enjoyable game!

Great game

Easy to pick up and very simple to learn, but hard to master. Great game to pass the time.

Addicting and chill game

I love that this game needs no tutorial. You learn as you go and by following the goals. It's fun, simple and relaxing.

Good but underdeveloped.

Let me start by saying the game has charm. It's got a cool graphical style and who doesn't love collecting shiny objects for points? The problem is it's more like a tech demo of a game concept than an actual game. You jump from planet to planet by tapping. You can't control the power of the jump and there are no cool gravity physics or interesting effects that play off the space theme. Basically there is no challenge or diversity after you spend 5 minutes on the game. There are a few upgrades which cost far too much and have little to no effect on the gameplay. Overall it's a cool concept that's just not developed or interesting enough to play for more than a few minutes.

Simple time killer

This game is entertaining for the first few minutes, but it gets boring pretty quickly. It seems like there is potential for a more interesting game but all it turned out to be is a time killer. The effects of the power ups and upgrades are almost indiscernible, the score multiplier tops out at 3x, which you can easily reach with just 5 to 10 jumps, and the difficulty curve is practically flat, so you can play for a long time without ever facing much challenge or variety. As you go on, a couple of gimmicks are introduced--backwards-spinning planets and fireballs. The first has no real impact on the game, but does give it a little variety, while the latter adds some challenge, especially as things begin to speed up. The graphics are nicely done and definitely give the game some character, but it doesn't make up for the lacking gameplay.

I can not put it down

Fun game
Really I play it very often and unaware of time passing

Blind mice...

...seriously? What game are all these overly critical gamers playing?! Some of these lame reviews are out of there minds, the game is a solid 4-41/2 for what it is...it's a perfect "bathroom/waiting room game."
Cool music, gameplay and upgrades with no IAP needed.
So many spoiled little kids in here who want a masterpiece for every $1.99 they spend, get over yourselves just relax and have fun.

Fun high score chaser with a delightful and addictive quality.

Fun game!
When I first started the game, I thought that it was going to be a monotonous flop. Jump from planet to planet to planet, again and again and again......
But actually; I was pleasantly surprised. Different planets spin at different speeds. Some of the jumps get crazier and crazier. There are different goals to reach that give it originality and more reason to keep playing.
Beyond Gravity is an addictive, fun high score chaser with a comical character that is a delight to play.

Misleading

The only gravitational physics is the one that pulls you downwards, so I guess those things you jump on only have enough strength to pull you in when you're on top of them. The game would be exponentially more interesting if you made the planets actually pull you into orbits ect.

I feel that because the game itself is too easy, the cost of upgrades is massive to make the game seem like it is hard. This isn't hard in itself, but it becomes tedious. If you play a good hard game, then you still want to keep playing it.

NOT GOOD

this game is a remake of the game rotate, but the 'gravity' part is at the bottom of the screen in you get pulled toward it. all you do is jump up and try to not fall to the bottom of the screen. it is worst than most free games and I recommend not wasting your money.

Ok but not my type of game

It was a pretty fun game but I don't like it much just because of the whole concept of the game

Fun, simple, and addictive

Enjoyed this. Congrats to developer.

Nopes

Though fairly good looking, and though the double jumping is a bit interesting, it's quite boring really quickly. Too uninterestingly easy and too unfairly hard at the same time. Most disappointing, it's simply disrespectful to its players with the uninspired goals and upgrades.

Fun, but not much substance

This game has a fun concept and is surprisingly addictive given the simplistic gameplay. There isn't too much skill involved and a limited amount of obstacles. After you collect all of the rather limited pool of power ups and costumes there isn't much reason to keep playing. Good for the waiting room at the dentist but there's just not that much here.

Sooooo much fun!

This game is visually engaging and easy to get lost in.
Fantastic way to lose some time to the gaming gods--errโ€ฆ Astronauts?

Nice!

The artwork pulled me in and I was not disappointed. The game play is simple but not easy. I'll be playing this for a while.

Don't buy

Waste of a dollar. It takes up 130 mb even though it's a terrible game and not much went into it. Can barely control the guy and gravity, spinning, etc. make no sense. Don't buy.

Solution to Expensive Upgrades

Why are upgrades so darn spendy? My solution if I had the opportunity to suggest it would be to change the goals that give bonuses so that they are based on running totals. For example, there is a goal for collecting 500 gold screws. The count does not start until that goal is revealed to the player. Perhaps the game could count these statistics from the first play so that when you reach these goals, you automatically get the bonus. Then goals of the same nature could be added and revealed as time goes on such as 1,000 gold screws, 2,500 gold screws, 5,000 gold screws, and so on.

There are a couple of issues though as well.

For one, once the "AI" calculates that the character is in a fall that can't be recovered from, the player can indeed sometimes recover with a double or a triple jump but then the character is stuck on the planet it lands on and cannot make any additional jumps.

Second, some of the goals are uninspired. For example, a goal for dying three times is a different way of wording 'Play X number of games' for which there are also goals for.

A treat

It is exceptional, I can't even decide why, but I can't stop

Fun!!! For future updates..

I love this game!!! It is like an outer space version of temple run, where you bound from planet to planet. I agree with everyone else that the prices are astronomical for upgrades. I hope in fewer updates to see some more playable characters, like a girl astronaut or a monkey astronaut, for two examples.
