More ads than gameplay
I know Sega is all about the money, but even other greedy developers will at least let you play the game. This game is just ad after ad after ad. Any time you tap on something, there’s another ad. Sega might as well just throw in the towel and start making the same repetitive cash grab games that independent developers make for iOS because they’re no better at this point.

I love this game! Reminds me of Zelda. I’ve been playing nonstop on my iPhone 13 with the backbone controller attached. If you like adventure games, this is easily 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve never played beyond oasis or some other old sega classics so getting them for free with a few mins of adds is amazing

This looks like a good place to save. “Watch an ad? “Ok. “Saving game” Crash! Reload. “Do you want to load your saved game?” I guess it saved it! “Watch an ad?” Ok. Wait, the game is starting from the beginning. Let me try this again. Save game. Ad. Crash. Reload. Load saved game. Ad. Starting from beginning again. -SIGH- Delete.

Hello- loved the game as a kid figured I’d pick it up again. It’s free initially but asks you to buy $1.99 upgrade to go ad free. I did. No ads. But game doesn’t save. Wouldn’t buy this game. $1.99 is a small price to duped from but the game is broken and will not save.
Great game, crappy controls, does not keep save progress
I’ve been trying to play this game for a few days now, and I have always ran into the same issue. Once I am done wrapping up my session I click save. I wash the ad, it closes out and it seems like it saves.
However, that is basically just a sham.I go to load the game again and not only does it not save, I still have to watch an ad to end up at the second SEGA screen. For them to offer a ad version and it does not do basic functions as far as saving does not make me feel confident in purchasing the ad free version

Saving Doesn't Work
After watching an ad to use the saving feature, the game crashes without fail. To my demise, the game was not saved when I went back in. How can you play an RPG without a save feature?

Tik tok ads with no X buttons for ad skips are annoying
The Tik Tok ads that have no X buttons for ad skips are annoying😡 and I just downloaded this game, the Tik Tok either need to have X buttons that they’re for ad skips or just get rid of this damns Tik Tok ads from your Sega Forever games once and for 🤬all.
It's quick and fun.
Some of the controls are a bit wonky but the fast paced beat em up format is still engaging.

When ever a tic tock ad comes up it freezes the game forcing me to exit it and erase it please help
Saving broken
This game is great but you can’t beat it in one sitting and saving working at all is a total crapshoot. I really wanted to play this but losing an hour of progress twice made me delete the app.

I loved this game the only thing I could think to make this better would be a co op mode it was great I used to play Sega when I was 3 and 4 and this game reminded me of you are a fan of the legends of Zelda you should play this game 😃

i like the fact they ported this. i just would rather it not obligate an ad EVERY TIME i save, or EVERY TIME i pause, or what it thinks is pause which is only me accidentally bringing up the ipod menu because the buttons are small and too close to the bottom. would rather not have to be online to play it either

BEYOND my expectations.
An amazing game really the storyline is cool the combat is awesome and the game runs really smooth. 10/10
Great old school rpg
If your looking for a good old school slasher rpg then give this a go. Good price and a solid week of playing until you beat it.
Love the game. Hate the app.
Buttons are horribly unresponsive, even at the biggest scale. Ads are ridiculously persistent and don’t always come with a way to close them. Do yourself a favor and buy an actual genesis with an actual copy of the game.
