Legitimately one of my favorite games I ever played even beyond its flaws I love brave frontier I don’t care what I had to do I just want to play it again man😭😞. Since it shutdown life’s never been the same.

Recently I have been unable to get any of the art or animations to load on the app making me unable to see any of them.

I miss when this worked. Now that the game is over. I want to look at units and lore to enjoy the memories. I can’t even look at units without it crashing. I miss the old version before the overhaul.

Getting there
I used to use this app all the time a few years back, checked it out again after it broke to find it got a huge overhaul and redesign, everything has been tuned up, even added more social elements to help players find new friends and guilds. Overall a really good improvement all around. However. A few features I remembered are missing. Namely, looking at a units attack and idle animations. (Not actually gone, just doesn’t work, I think) If the old version can pull this off, surely the overhaul can as well. This is one of my favorite parts of this app so for it to be patched up and make a return would be real nice. 2nd thing missing is filtering unit lists between server regions. Before you could look at the Unit list from the JP and EU servers. Not as much as an issue as most units from these servers have progressed onto the Global server, however, there still are a chunk of units from the EU and JP lists that were there before, that did not make a return. 3rd, and the least important one, you can’t zoom in on a Units artwork anymore. This one might be a bit more of a personal one as I like to admire the artwork that goes into the game, but that’s about it. Lastly, the character page is gone. In this page you could view the character portraits used in the Main Questline, Grand Quest, Seasonal Vortex Events, etc. Would also be nice to see that make a comeback. Besides all of that though, its really pleasing to see this get a new breath of life, and it looks clean, and professional. As a wiki information wise, it’s all you need. Just needs that small little added kick to make it perfect.

I have a iPhone 12 and I’m not able to use this app cuz the ad that pops up after I open can’t be closed the exit button appears so far out that only a fraction of it is visible
Unusable
I downloaded this to try to look at the really good designs this game had, but oh no, candy crush probably paid these people like $10,000 because you literally, and I mean LITERALLY CANNOT tap on the X on the corners of the screen like geez????
CANT USE THE APP
Downloaded the app to get back into the game and unfortunately cannot get into the actual app because of the ads. The ad isn’t allowing me to close it ever. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the X it’s showing to close is not responding .
Fix it
The app is great but the fact I constantly have to exit the app when opening it because of an add that won’t allow me to quit out of it is extremely frustrating.

Please fix. The button to close the ad is on the top corner of my screen and is unusable. Because of this I can’t exit the ad and use the app.

The ads in the beginning have the smallest X button i have ever seen and I cant close the ad even after its over. Ive been trying to look things up but i cant even use the app. Please fix this!
This is ridiculous
So originally I thought this app was great, the ads are crazy annoying but it's somewhat useful. Now, I can't even access the app because the mini games are so stupid and won't let me exit them. Immediate uninstall.
Overall good, but some issues
This app is pretty well setup and easy to navigate, however there is one major issue I have with the ads. The ads themselves are not the issue, I understand their necessity to the continued support of the app, but my problem is that they are not optimized for newer phones and even once you get through the ad the little exit button is so far off in the top corner that sometimes you literally cannot press it. Fix that and we’ll be square and I can go back to using this app as I’ve gotten back into BF recently.

Newest Update takes away Lists
I’m not a fan of the newest update that just rolled out. My favorites are all rolled into one and I cannot access saved lists. I see that they are all now categorized as favorites but I cannot switch between folders or view them.

A great app to research your units’ stats
But it REALLY needs to be updated as it’s possibly years behind the actual game. Im too lazy to look up the website and this is easily accessible

Major update.
I’ll start off by saying Ive used this app for many years now but it has been heavily outdated. The makers of the app have recently updated and caught it up as it was behind by about 3-4 years. The app is really useful if you just need to quickly look something up and don’t want to use the wiki found online. However with the update have come things they have removed from the newer version. The main change that hurts the app for me though is that anytime you wish to update the app you need to watch a 30 second long ad which is frustrating when you’re going on just to look at something minor quickly. I understand the need for ads but the way they are implemented is incredibly annoying. Another thing is the removal of how to obtain units. The previous version had this in the unit description however the newer version has simply removed it. The updated version also doesn’t have a way to favorite and organize units which I found very helpful in the older version and wish I could do it here. One very minor thing that I wish they would implement again would be swiping between units. Once you click on a unit you used to be able to swipe left or right to the next or previous unit in the list. The newer version has removed this.
