Lost data

Update yesterday and list all data. Been using for nearly 10 years and now all that data is gone!

Updateβ€”there is actually a way to import old data. Should have been done automatically

Another App Ruined By Subscription

I have been using this app to log and print reports for my doctor for many years but since this latest update I can no longer generate reports unless I pay a subscription. Wish I’d known this before updating the app. Not happening. I’ll just use the mySugr app instead. All good things are spoiled by greed.

Glucose record

Cannot get readings on what is in the records

Excellent App

Long time satisfied user, not a paid agent. I have been using this app for quite a few years, and really like the ease of use along with the multiple reports available. Quickly syncs with my Health App to keep all my data in one place. I have found it very useful and informative. Tracking consistently over time gives me a great picture as to how well ( or not) I am controlling my diabetes. My doctor was very impressed with the reports and charts, and wanted to get it for herself.

Great app

I have used this app off and on for years and love it. When I failed to log my glucose, it got out of control. It is the routine testing AND logging results that keeps me on track and healthy and controlling my diabetes with pills rather than injections.

Good app for iPad and iPhone, but....

This application generally works well, but it makes me nervous that the sync between devices is a bit buggy (deleted records keep reappearing) and the application crashes whenever you attempt to send an export to another application (e.g. to email it). Your data is essentially locked into the app. If the developer reads this, I would love to see these things fixed as this is one of the few blood sugar monitoring apps that displays properly on an iPad.

Great Diabetic Tool

I used a number of software to record my Sugar numbers over the years. Your product is the best, my Doctor loves the reports I print.
Thanks

Almost perfect for my needs

I have been using this app for several years now to monitor my Type II diabetes controlled by pills only. It does a nice job of syncing between my iPhone and my iPad. I tend to enter most data on the phone and generally use the iPad look at charts and review with my doctor. It would be nice to have a landscape view on the iPhone for charts and an explanation for the difference between total and daily averages , but otherwise it fits my needs nicely.

BGluMon

This app has a number of good things going for it as well as a few oddities that are a real turn-off.

I am a Type 1 using Novolog and Levemir, and porting a Dexcom CGM.

The ability to choose keyboard or wheel input is great. I happen to hate using the, albeit quaint, wheel system. The Reports section is varied. However, when choosing the Plain Table view, one does not see medications. As everyone knows, insulin will peek and subside, very much key to hourly glucose trends. It is necessary to see the medication dosage and time it was taken in order to interpret the Glucose readings (especially on the fly, lest one should choose to take a bolus before the previous dosage of insulin has peaked and thus create a double whammy.)

The graphs, on an iPhone, cannot be read in Landscape View, making its aspect in Portrait view very difficult to read and interpret. The pic they have on the iStore must be from an iPad, as it is in Landscape view.

Inputing medication (insulin in my case) takes too many steps (you have to press medication once to get to the medication screen and again to pick the med; the first press should give a screen with a choice of meds one wants to input).

Furthermore, one can only input one med per entry. I often have to take both my insulins at the same time (different injections). You have to create a completely new entry to enter the second injection dosage. Again, you will not see either dosage in the daily Plain Table view.

Lastly, I wish they would include a countdown timer as part of the app. I have not seen this feature on any glucose monitor app, to be fair, and I have checked many. The point of the timer is, as mentioned earlier, related to insulin's propensity to peak. To be sure, different insulins will peak at different times and also vary depending on the subject (putting aside activity and food intake). This timer should be able to be set for different insulins and to beep at he time the user has preset the peak time for each insulin. Of corse, this timer should be able to multi-task; that is, more than one timer (associated to different insulins) being able to operate at the same time.

I tried contacting support many times to see if there is a way around the problems I see, but I have not received even a "Will get back to you about that later" response. Zip. Nada. I sent short e-mails five or six times.

So, if you only take one med, and you don't care about hourly glucose trends to guide you with your boluse decisions, the this app is good.

Exactly what I needed.

There are many apps available that automatically collect data from the particular device they were made for. Most are very bad at rendering reports for sharing with your doctor. However, if your device specific app writes automatically to IOS Health, this app will read the glucose data from IOS Health and output really great customized PDF reports. Worth every penny I paid for it.

As Advertised

I have been using this app for about 6 months and it has performed exactly as expected.

What I Need

Been using this for 3 years. Exactly what I need. I recommend.

Very Good App

I have tried several monitoring apps and this one is great! Would give five stars if the iPad version was a little more user friendly. For example, moving between fields when adding a record should save automatically. If you do not hit done, it doesn't save the field. It was a bit frustrating at first. Also, the chart range should auto automatically increment to include the current date. You will not see today's entry unless you go in and change it when in custom. Otherwise, highly recommend this one.

Handy app!

I prefer BGluMon over all the other glucose monitoring apps as it is easy to use. It offers you different ways to monitor your glucose levels. I especially like the ease of editing and ability to keep notes. I have recommended it to several diabetics and some health care professionals.

Bglumon

I had this on my iPhone and it worked great. I got a iPad and this app will not let me post any data . Ok it is working now . It was me that was the problem . Works great easy to use.

Excellent - a must have

Easy to use. Just enough functions to see what's going on.

Fantastic app

This app is wonderful. I have been using for several years and I love it. I appreciate being able to set my own categories and the graphs really help. I love the summery report I print out for my Doctor.

Therapeutic Tool

I have been using this app for approximately 3 years or more. It has been helpful, in fact, instrumental in managing my glucose. I am able to generate different types of reports which chart my successes as well as any failures. It figures out your A1C the ultimate management goal to defer the catastrophic damages related to Diabetes. This is a keeper. An internist who is himself diabetic was excited about this app.
