What's New in Bhagavad Gita The Song of God

2.0.1

September 15, 2026

Version 2.0.1 — now you can hear the Gita, not only read it. LISTEN TO EVERY SHLOKA A Sanskrit recitation now sits with every verse. Tap play and let the shloka be heard while you read along, the way these words were always meant to be received. All 640 verses, start to finish. LISTEN ANYWHERE, EVEN OFFLINE Download the recitations once and every shloka plays with no internet at all. Not downloaded yet? They stream the moment you press play. The recitation is in Sanskrit, so one download serves whichever language you read in. TELL US WHAT WOULD MAKE THIS BETTER A new Feedback & Issues page in your Account. We are continuously improving this app and your suggestions genuinely shape it. Signed in, your details fill themselves in; signed out, your name is enough. ALWAYS UP TO DATE Downloaded languages now refresh themselves when you open the app, so corrections to the text reach you without waiting for an update. FEWER PERMISSIONS We reviewed everything the app asks of your device and removed what it does not need. Camera, microphone and screen overlay are no longer requested. Radhey Radhey!

Incomplete Sloka - Telugu

The Slokas for Telugu version are incomplete

Slokas are truncated for Telugu

Slokas are half for Telugu version. Reduce the font size and make the Slokas full.

Good App but lacks dark mode.

Very good commentary by Swami Mukundananda and the app is very easy. I wish the devs add the option to switch to reading in dark mode.
