I tried Malayalam but was stumped by the very first question that assumed I know the script.

After i learnt some words and wanna attempt quiz then getting options in kannada script which i hadnt learnt , i had only learnt spoken kannada there

This app needs a lot of updates and honestly should probably be bought by Duolingo and just have their courses transfer over there message to developers
