great app
i play pedal steel, fiddle, mandolin, and other stuff. i have been a pro since 1973. yep im old now..i I have had a real trouble using foot switches and stuff for all the instruments are playing getting a good sound but this baby works great and I love that I can change sex with my fingers American chain I have a big Bluetooth for the switch also have MIDI Guitar two so I can play keyboards_This app exceeds my expectations. I love it.

Ok…so it sounds good and has nice features….except the one that matters most to me….auv3 support. Tbh I barely even use this anymore since we have amp sim developers who understand the IPad music production landscape now. And now that we have Logic Pro for the IPad , Bias Amps is REALLY obsolete. You guys are still working on updating iaa, really….how out of touch is that??????? 😂😂😂 This would be an instant 5 star app for me if it were an audio unit…I’ve literally bought every in app purchase for this and Bias fx and barely use either because I don’t use iaa….this can’t even be used with Logic Pro for IPad…..how smart is that????

Sooooo the app just started crashing on launch, tried everything, offloading and reinstalling it to hopefully keep all my custom presets…still kept crashing and had no choice but to completely reinstall. The good news…it’s working again…..The bad news…..I lost ALL my custom presets…..years worth. So even though I’ve bought literally every in app purchase….im done using this outdated app. Positive Grid might still be a thing as far as hardware and desktop apps go…..but they are completely obsolete and outdated yesterdays news as far as the IPad platform goes.

Bias amp 2 crashes and won’t open on iOS 17.7 been like this awhile. Immediate crash upon opening comes up then crash’s. This app is great when it works but lately it has not been. Developers need to address this issue and quickly.

What can I say. I wish all audio software was like it. Everything works 100%! I can only send a huge THANK YOU to the creators and developers (yes, two very different group of people indeed), for the Love and Care they applied bring this and Bias Fx 2 to life. If you play Guitar/Bass, do your self a favour and buy this, and its Plugins, it will change Everything for your journey.

Highly unstable after buying IAP
Worked great for the first few days…. As soon as I hit the buy button for the Glassy Amp IAP, the audio glitched causing a painfully loud screeching sound. Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2 has been highly unstable ever since.
Tried deleting app and re-installing which did not fix anything. Tried on a new M4 IPad as well as a 2018 IPad, and had similar issues on both. Adjusting amp setting in Bias Amp 2 will sometimes trigger a loud screeching audio glitch… If I leave Fx2 to adjust the amp in Bias Amp 2, when I return to Bias FX2 the audio no longer works ie. Won’t output sound.
Be very careful if using headphones, those super loud audio glitches could cause hearing damage…. Super disappointed with this one, lots of potential but just doesn’t work properly. (also the UI isn’t scaled properly on 12.9-13” iPads).

Prefer the Jam Up Pro and this app over the newer offerings. Better sound, easy to see/use, and the amp details allow me to get the sound I am looking for.

Supposed to be universal compatible but not
Bought this for my iPad thinking once I buy it it would work with my iPhone to but doesn’t and have tried multiple times to get support but no response. It clearly says that it’s universal compatible but not with my iPhone 14 Pro Max keeps saying to purchase again from App Store even though I already did on my iPad Air.

Needs AU for use with Logic
The amp models sound nice, but are nearly useless for what I need on this device. It would be awesome to be able to use this app as a plug-in in Logic Pro.
Nice Amp Building App
Nice integration with Bias FX2, but needs update for iPad Pro 11”. UI looks great, but does not fit the screen properly. 4 or 5 starts if this is fixed.
iOS 16.5.1, iOS 16.6 distorted feedback
On my one device that has iOS 16.5 I have no issues with the app, but on my other iOS 16.5.1 and iOS 16.6 devices the audio comes out with this digital distorted with some feedback sometimes. It's also affecting ampkit+ so I assume it just needs an update since the latest OS version broke something on these apps.

Hi there, we are really sorry for the problem you encountered earlier. The latest version of BIAS Amp and BIAS FX are working together again. Please download the updates on AppStore and try it out. You will have no problem importing the amps now!
Inter app Audio Broken
Can’t load this into AUM as IAA. Bias fx2 works, but looks like they have abandoned this one. Lame.
Issues with iOS 16
As was mentioned in the last review, Bias 2 is an amazing app, and I like its tones and functionality more than any other app I’ve used. And it’s integration with the Bias amps makes for a completely unique system, and the Bias Mini is my favorite hardware amp now.
Except Bias 2 does not work as an IAA plug-in with any app I’ve used (Cubasis 3, AUM), and will no longer operate with the Bias Mini amp, with iOS 16. It all worked fine before iOS 16. I really hope PG fixes this soon, as it is basically useless to me now.
