The 2 Star Rating is kinda a personal opinion (let me explain)
If it didn’t have links to playlists on YouTube & Spotify anywhere on the app then this app would be an easy 4/5 stars minimum. The reason this feature is a problem (at least for me, but I bet many others as well) is even when you delete the Youtube app and disable all browsers on your phone (via friends/family setting parental controls) it is still possible to access Youtube and other social medias by using other apps that you thought were harmless or possibly even useful.
So what would be an otherwise amazing app for helping me study the faith & learn Italian in my down time ends up being a disappointment just like many other apps that came before it. And that’s why I sadly have to give this app 2 stars. The Youtube links create too much possibility for distraction; And for what? Listening to the chapters on Youtube vs the App has no added benefit other than letting Youtube serve up some ads between chapters. I’m not saying the creators have ill intentions. I’m just saying this ‘feature’ only hurts the user experience and that I hope they find a better way of monetizing their app soon.
