Does Not work well
The best App ever but when I war 37 min from Reading when I Go into Social Media After 2 min the 37 min Budget is away please fix
A few issues
this should be a donation funded app and not subscription based. It feels like the priorities are misplaced.
It’s a Great concept. it crashes whenever I try to reset my chapter/book progress and has some other bugs. Need a bit more polishing. Hope they fix it soon!

Would be the best app ever if Family Sharing is available.
I love this app. It has helped me to center my daily routine. However, I would like my family to be on the same page. My kids and wife would like to participate as well but we don’t seem able to share the subscription. Maybe it is available and I do not know how to do it as well so any advice would be acceptable. I started this week and have read over 1000 verses and have decreased my social media. I appreciate the app. Thank You and God Bless.

Accountability Master
I genuinely use this app every day, and I’ve even gotten my fiancée to start using it too. It’s become a great way for us to stay accountable to spending time in Scripture together. Reading God’s Word consistently and seeking the Lord daily is something every Christian should prioritize, and this app has been a huge help.
One suggestion I’d love to see is stronger accountability around app restrictions. I’ll be honest, I have been tempted to disable the restrictions before, and I’ve done it. While I try to hold myself accountable afterward, I think the app could help users in that area. For example, it could keep a visible log of every time restricted apps are enabled or whenever Bible Break’s Screen Time permissions are disabled. The goal wouldn’t be to shame anyone, but to make those moments visible so users can honestly reflect on them instead of quietly bypassing the system.
Another feature I’d love is built-in audio Scripture. Right now I often play the Bible app in the background while reading along in Bible Break, and it works surprisingly well. It also lets me follow Bible reading plans from the Bible app while still using Bible Break. Having integrated audio and eventually Bible reading plans would make an already excellent app even better.
Thank you for creating a tool that genuinely encourages people to spend more time in God’s Word. It has made a meaningful difference in my daily walk with Christ.

More versions, please!
I love the idea, but there are not enough versions for me to justify this. Especially paying for this! I really don’t want to pay 30 more dollars a year. I love the new international version. I will keep checking back to see what versions this has because I definitely would love to have it.
Need Catholic Bible
I think the concept of this is great and I would definitely get use out of this, but I am looking for the Douay Rheims Bible, I can’t read the others. I know it was listed on the bottom of the list that you are working to get more translations but I’m putting this review here in hopes I’ll remember to get this translation soon. Love the idea, I hope this helps out so many other people struggling.

Good but bad versions
I really like this app actually and have been using it for a few months. I really wish there were better versions available though. I don’t like the web Bible that much. I really good but it would be perfect if it had the ESV or something like that.
Meh.
Love the concept, however it’s poorly executed. The minutes aren’t 1 for 1. I had 214 minutes stored the other day and got like 10 minutes ish before I got timed out. Plus it keeps asking me to go into screen time setting and toggle the “screen time restrictions” button and has done so multiple times. I’ll come back in a few months and see if they sorted the bugs out.

Bugs and issues
I wanted to keep this app as an effort to stay in Gods word and limit social media. Unfortunately, Bible Break will glitch and block apps that I didn’t allow, such as internet browser or Google Maps. Several times I had to toggle on and off different permissions until it just became too frustrating to keep. I paid $30 for a subscription I used for a week.

Great app. Sketchy functionality.
So I actually really appreciate this app and what it does however, it times out before the allotted time. if I have 20 minutes worth of scripture read, it still times out around 12 minutes of being on social media. So that’s why I took a star away. it’s not really accurate timing. other than that, I’m grateful to have something that reminds me that I have to guard My Heart and intentionally read God’s word more than I’m on social media.

Kinda misleading
So I saw an ad for it and thought it was a great idea but you go through the app and then BAM you gotta either pay $10 a month or $30 for the year. Seems cool but asking for $30 off rip is kinda crazy. It’s a “Christian app” but it’s just another subscription based service….
Great concept, minutes don’t match
I really want to love this app but the minutes don’t line up. I read in the YouVersion app so I can follow along with my Bible plan, so I toggled on the option to mark whole chapters read instead of marking each individual verse. I have multiple screenshots of my minutes “bank” being at 30+ minutes and yet this only unlocks my social apps for 1 minute. For some reason, the feature to mark whole chapters only gives 1 minute per chapter which defeats the point of that feature. Because of this bug, it would be nice to have the option to import Bible plans or reading progress from YouVersion or other Bible apps. There are also only 5 translations available, the NIV, ESV, NASB, and NLT are not included.

More Bible options
This app is great. I wish ESV or NLT were Bible options to choose from.
Missing 7 Books
Seemed like a really great idea. However this app only has the “lite” versions of the Bible. Each translation was missing 7 books of the Bible.
Would like more versions,
But love the concept. LEB is my go to version! But crashed and had to reinstall it…
Fantastic Idea
This app seems like a great idea! I do wish more bible versions were available, like ESV and NLT. Its execution is actually pretty great for me, where I love technology and AI integrations. The AI are very heavily integrated and it may turn more traditional readers away from this style of app, while the concept of a screen time limiter would be amazing for a lot of other Christian’s that will not agree about AI being so deeply involved with scripture YET.

Not free
You must pay monthly to access scripture… says a lot about the reason they made this app, for profit not holy reasons
Wish it was more accessible
I really wanted to love this app, and I personally don’t mind paying, but I did find it kind of inconsiderate to ask for payment, there are so many people who would benefit from this app and they all come from different walks of life and some people can’t afford monthly subscriptions. I would have loved to recommend this to my middle and highschoolers at church but I couldn’t possibly, knowing the situations that some of them are in. I really hope there comes a way to provide a free version/plan in the app aside from the 3 day trial.
Great job on the app and amazing idea!

Shouldn’t have to pay
Having to pay a subscription for an app that is supposed to help people struggling with screen time feels very predatory. Also crazy how someone can use the Bible and your personal relationship with God to make money off you.
Minutes don’t line up
I really wanted to love this app, I have kids so want to be more present with them so I figured okay perfect read 10-15 min of the bible I get 10-15 min of social media and that’s good. Well i will be reading for 15-20 min and asking it question and it will say I have been only reading for one minute. I guess I read too slow or ask too many questions. But if I’m reading the bible I will digest it not just read to read. Idk maybe there something wrong I still have two days of trial but if this stays the same I will not purchase the full version. I do already spend 30 min in the morning and at night praying and doing scripture this was just an added bonus throughout the day but might not be right for my life right now.
