Not what I thought it was.

SO BUMMED- You can’t set this to be your Home Screen and that’s why I bought it. I also wish there were more Bible versions to choose from, but my BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT is I thought the verse would match the time. For example at 3:16 it should show a scripture like John 3:16, and change every minute with scriptures that match each minute. There’s an actual clock that is coming out that does that but I thought this was going to be so much better because it’s in my hand so often. I paid for the upgrade before even trying the free version. Had I slowed down I probably wouldn’t have because it wasn't what I hoping it would be. It’s an app you have to log into to see the verse which isn’t unique. If I’m wrong they make it impossible to ask a question and nothing that tells me otherwise. I still have it two stars because it’s always nice to have scripture in front of us.

UPDATE: now the feature you are looking for is available! Use Time-based Source (we have two sources -- Collections or Time-based) would give you exactly what you are suggesting. 3:16 -> to John 3:16. Basically this app is to help you memorize Bible Verse(s) by displaying the verse all the time with the clock. You could basically use your device as a clock but displays the bible verse. Not sure whether we can revoke your purchase (I don't think Apple allows this) but we will definitely update the app as we move forward. We do plan to show bible verse using the widget in the future.
