1. The Bible book tab now stays pinned at the top The book name, chapter number, and version (KJV, etc.) stay locked in view while you scroll through verses. Your place at the top of the page never scrolls away again. 2. Current book and chapter now show in the app header The top bar of the Bible reader instantly displays exactly which book and chapter you're reading — you always know where you are, even when returning from another screen. 3. Bigger, easier Classic ↔ Modern switch The layout toggle in the top bar has larger, more reliable tap targets. Switching between Classic and Modern is now a clean tap every time — no more missed taps or accidental double-switches. 4. Cleaner hamburger menu The menu icon flips to a clear "close" (X) when the menu is open, closes reliably every single time, and never leaves an invisible overlay stuck on screen after you dismiss it. 5. Notification bell now works everywhere Unread counts, the notification badge, and the notification inbox all load correctly on both Classic and Modern layouts. Tapping a notification opens the right screen with no misses. 6. Fewer notification permission popups The system "Open Settings to re-enable notifications" alert now shows at most once per install. Once you've made your choice, the app never nags you about it again. 7. Forced updates removed You will never be locked out of the app for running an older version. Read Scripture on your own schedule — updates are optional, not a wall between you and God's Word.
