The Best!
This is the best Bible memory app by far. I say it's the best because it allows you to hide either the reference or the verse and to check yourself on the specific verse(s) you want to memorize.
Like another reviewer said, it reminds me of the old navigator system using 3 x 5 cards.

This app has helped me memorize God’s word! The flash cards are especially helpful.
Perfectly simple so far!
I have not been using this app for very long so my opinion may change and be updated in the future.
So far, this app seems to be very simplistic and very useful and effective in what it does. You can list all the scriptures that you want very easily and clearly, and memorize them and go through a list of passages once you have memorized them for review. There are flash cards and other review options that aren’t incredibly tedious, like typing everything out, but it can reveal the first letter or first word in order to help you. It is very useful and helpful!
My one annoyance is that if you have a passage of scripture that is rather large, there is no way to shrink the text so it all fits on the screen at once, you have to scroll in order to see the whole thing. A simple update to be able to adjust the size of the text would easily fix this issue.

The Best
I have tried all the scripture memory apps that have recently been in the App Store. I have been using Bible Memory versus on and off for the past 10 years, and find that meets all my needs in terms of flexibility to review certain verses, the ability to move this around, the ability to cut and paste in different versions. I have been with this app on and off through its ups and downs, but I’m now very happy with the backup, and also the ability to review systematically and change my review patterns around. I warmly recommended as the best scripture memory app on the market.

Loved this app but when I opened it today, all I see is the Getting Started info. Is this no longer supported?

Great App
Two complaints on recent updates. When the iPhone goes to sleep the app defaults back to the folders page rather than staying where you were. The app doesn’t allow me to save in Bible order.

This is a great application, not only to memorize verses but to categorize them by topic and find them quick to share in times of need.

Help, organize folders
I love this app. Help notes suggest I can rearrange to folders I’ve added, however it is nit intuitive and I cannot find directions. Can anyone help? Thanks

I love this app. It has helped me to memorize bible verses but I wish we can make up our own folders so that I can categorize my verses that I have memorized.
Missing verses
I have used this app for a number of years and was impressed with its features.
Recently however I am missing verses in my many saved folders.
On the folders page I see the name of the folders and each one shows the count of verses in that folder. When I select and view the folder they are not all there.
Disappointing after the many hours of work to set this up.

True and we are devastated by the loss of a few users verses after 10 years of reliability. We have found the source of the elusive bug and have fixed it. We are currently conducting rigorous testing to insure stability and hope to have a new release soon. Thanks for your feedback, please accept my apology for the data loss. Not to minimize your loss, but I know of 7 users that experienced the unusual circumstances that caused the problem. Please email me if you want to know more or to discuss the possibility of recovering your verses.

I honestly cannot give this FREE app enough stars & praise for what a wonderful companion it has been to me! It’s truly a Godsend!! It is AMAZING all you can do with this app!! To have God’s Word at your fingertips & exactly the verses you may need at a monuments notice, is sooo convenient PLUS you can create specific files with the ability to share them with others in need!

A real blessing
I used to learn memory verses as a teenager at the beginning of high school and just start learning them again. How the Word of God becomes planted deep within our soul as we do this. This app is really well presented and flexible in allowing me to allow God to touch my heart. Can’t recommend this App and this discipline highly enough.

Great but a long time bug hurts it
I have been using this for several years. It is VERY versatile: add your own verses; organize everything by folders; GREAT testing abilities with text removal or hide all text.
Only 1 issue: there is a point where you try to indicate a Scripture is a target, favorite or memorized and when doing so the app crashes. Therefore - I am not receiving a true representation of what I have learned. This may have something to do as a combination of the verses being an addition (not in original library) and crossing a threshold (exceed either adding so many custom verses and/or a threshold in number of verses memorized).
Only work-around is to use folders to track those verses as memorized - even if they are not in the memorized folder.
I had written to the developer but did not receive a response and the latest May 2020 bug fix has not resolved.
Otherwise - this app is OUTSTANDING and a great tool - better than the old days of Navigators memory card systems and 3x5 cards!
