Great app and no surprise theological errors
I've downloaded a few Bible apps where after using them for a little while the answer to a trivia question is literal blasphemy. This one has checked out… I used the free version for a little while and happily paid for the full version. There are a few different ways to do the trivia questions some more challenging than others so when I just want a fun past time I use the multiple choice feature. When I want to be challenged a bit more I will do the fill in the blank! There's also a true and false section which gives you a 50-50 shot of getting it right if I'm just not in the mood to deal with any sort of rejection at all lol I highly recommend this app and it's helping me to really hone in some gaps in my Bible knowledge especially with regard to geography and timelines in some of the harder names to get familiar with.

Like it a lot!
Started playing this trivia app just for fun. Now, it is part of my Bible daily time spent in the word! I realize how much Word I still know, and it allows me to dig a little bit deeper for the scriptures and verses I don’t remember.
The little extra cost to go to the next level is worth every penny. I recommend you try it as part of your daily Bible time spent in the word!

Right answer marked wrong
I love the app. I really enjoy being able to look back at the Bible to find my answers. The only problem I have is simple. When I went to answer a couple of questions, I had the right answer. However there was still an empt block that needed to be filled. So I placed a random letter, and when the answer was revealed it was in fact correct. Other than this simple issue, this app is great.

Clever!
I saw a comment on here about the ten virgins and I just wanted to clarify that some of the questions are trick questions. Technically he did meet “ten virgins.” It’s just that 5 were accepted.
As for my review this is one of the best Bible based games I have ever encountered over the years. It really makes you think and challenge what you think you know. I will definitely be recommending it to others!

Good app for beginners of the Bible!
I am a beginner of the Bible and have been for a while, and this app gave questions I didn’t know the answers to. But it helped me learn things I didn’t know and I have never read about, so if or when I get to those parts, I’ll understand it without having to go back and forth. I wish it had a little more fun to it but overall I do like the app and recommend for anyone. From beginners to people who memorize the Bible

Free until you run out of free questions
Once you have used up all the free questions, you don’t get a chance to go back and review, redo, or do questions you missed for review. And once you finish those questions there’s no other option or menu screen or anything except to buy the expansion pack. So either you buy the expansion pack or you delete the game.

Fun quiz to see how much I know
I had fun playing the Fill in the Blank questions. It’s fun to see how much I remember for random questions, and on which ones I “get stuck”.
I like the option to get a Bible verse reference clue to look up the answer when I was stuck. For one question I had to think of synonym for the word, because the Bible translation I used has a different word.
I was a little frustrated when I got a particular answer wrong, because I hit a wrong letter on accident in the beginning; I accidentally bumped the “N” when trying to touch the “M”, and didn’t realize it until after I submitted my answer. Maybe the letter “tiles” could be a little bigger.

I like It So Far ...
I’ve just played the multiple choice style game so far and I like it. It is not as easy for me as I thought it would be. I did enter the “fill-in-the-missing-word” game, but I couldn’t figure out how to enter the answer after I put the letters into the blanks...but I didn’t really look too hard for the “enter answer button” that must surely be there. I’ll go back eventually.

Great Study tool but not enough free questions
I had a blast playing this trivia game. It really shows how much knowledge one has & areas to be worked on. I liked the choice of question styles too. There could be an option to have a random mixture too though.
The questions are well thought out. The only thing I don’t like is there aren’t enough free questions. Personally, I think there should be enough questions to make it challenging for a fun game against friends.
All in all...a fun game

Not all questions are scripturally accurate
So far I’ve noticed 2 questions (and answers) are scripturally accurate. The 1st one was regarding Jesus and His lineage up to David. I don’t recall the exact details but it said Mary was not in the lineage of David. However, when you read the Matthew and Luke It shows 2 males as parents of Joseph, the father of Jesus. We know 2 men cannot have children so one of them was referring to Mary’s father. However it wasn’t customary for the women’s decants to be named.
The 2nd incorrect answer I noticed is referencing Daniel 3:25. It doesn’t say the king saw someone who looked like the “sons of god” but someone who looks like the “Son of God”. That’s Jesus, King of Kings.

Impressions
It’s been a year since I began the game. I mastered it pretty quickly and go back re-doing every question each week just to keep discipline. After one knows the answers, the challenge is spelling and tapping without error. There are a couple of questions that aren’t consistent between categories but overall the game is well thought out. We could use some new questions. Thanks for the experience! Mimnut.

Very good
This game is an amazing one! The questions are challenging and fun. My only problem is that to get the extension thing for the questions costs. I understand that the creators have to make money. I just wish that there was a different way to get the extension, I’ve been playing for a half an hour and I am already majorly hooked. For anyone who is looking for a great bible trivia app, I highly recommend this one! Thanks for such a thrilling game!

Five Virgins, not Ten
Someone else mentioned this in an earlier review... one of your T/F questions states that 10 virgins met the bridegroom and if False is chosen, we get the answer wrong when it’s actually the correct answer. Remember, this is a parable that Jesus was telling to make a point about the importance of being ready for our Bridegroom’s return. If all 10 virgins had met the bridegroom, the lesson of the parable would be pointless. The verse referenced in your app is Matthew 25:1, which actually says (KJV) 10 virgins went forth “to” meet the bridegroom, however, only five actually met Him and went inside with him. If you continue reading, it explains the five foolish virgins didn’t bring enough oil for their lamps and when they ran out they left to buy more oil. Verse 10 on explains, “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
Therefore, only five virgins actually met the bridegroom even though 10 went out “to” meet him.

I love knowing that when you read from the Bible be careful to have details right...very important ..I loved the True/false questions along with the multi - answers...the missing word can be tricky depending on your translation..& your spelling.?very easy to miss spell words ?it’s sad when you know the answer but not the spelling...I’m not sure which translation you are using in this game but it could be helpful to know......all in all ..I love it
PS please tag me in which translation you use bc my bible has words that are different then what they say here in some of these games..which in turn makes the question wrong ...

Add more options
This app provided time well spent with the family. It offered questions that we knew but also had to really think it through.
This game is similar to others. The way to separate this game to others, would be to:
1. On the multiple questions (this is the only phase of the game I’ve played) when the answer was given, a scripture would be presented for verification. An extra option to this would be if we can tap the verse and it would guide us to the actual bible so we can read the whole chapter. This way we won’t have to pull out our own bible or most ppl use a bible app and therefore would have to keep switching from app to app.
2. Maybe add visual maps of locations once the answer was provided and tapping it would guide us to bible and maps.

Great Bible Trivia App
This is a very well written Bible question app! The T or F are very difficult but the questions really make you know the intimate details of the most important book ever written! Thanks for making a great app.
I have some issues after completing the free questions and purchasing the 1625 additional for a nominal $0.99. The problem is some of the answers are taken from translations of the Bible that are not literal translations but paraphrasing. The second issue is seen by this question about one of Jesus’ parables that 5 virgins met the bridegroom. The Scripture given is Matthew 25:1. But if you know the whole parable only 5 actually were prepared to meet the Bridegroom , and actually met him before the doors were closed because they had with the proper amount of oil for their lamps as shown in Matthew 25:10! Your answer says ten virgins met the bridegroom not five! I appreciate there are Scripture references with each answer and that the questions seem to be written by humans rather than a computer but the questions should be used to teach not trick! That’s the reason for removing one ☆.

Much better than mindless games
I really enjoyed this game. With one exception there’s no spellcheck if you miss one letter because your fingers are fat like mine you get it incorrect so be careful about your spelling before you get to the last letter because once you enter the last letter it’s submits it automatically and there’s no going back. Oh and the person that said there is an error in the question that asked the first disciples original name was Peter and there wasn’t any way to spell Peter. But his original name was Simon and Simon was there and it is correct and it took it

Short
I really liked this. I got about 70% of the questions correct, so not too difficult. Some were guesses, two that I got wrong was (1) I accidentally typed in “mercl” instead of mercy, and (2) I spelled Babel as Bable
The rest of the wrong answers I truly didn’t know.
This was fun while it lasted, but I finished in literally 30-40 minutes. The shortness is the only reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise it’s perfect!
Update:
I read negative reviews saying that once you finish the demo that you can never replay them. NOT. TRUE!!! It says in the end that you can “reset” the quizzes at any time. I’ve even found that the questions were rotated, and was asked new questions. So just know that.
Update 2:
For anyone wondering, I think this is NIV version. Idk, or some other uncommon translation. I know it’s not KJV or NKJV, so maybe NIV...

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!
I love the fact that it doesn't ask you to rate it every time you answer a question.
This is, by far, one of thee best Bible Trivia games I have played in a LOOOONG time and I have played a lot.
I like the questions they really make you think. I don't like the fact that you miss one, because you accidentally hit the wrong letter, however, you're not penalized for it either.
Great game... oh I just realized there's more than just filling in the blank!!

Super Challenging! (Update: November 25, 2016)
I have gone through a lot of Biblical apps and eventually deleted them, some were expensive! I really like this app. The questions are worded in a way so you have to think about your choices. Within a short time I was being challenged by questions put in a way I wasn't expecting. Really done well...open it up...answer a few or answer a lot!
Update: Still loving this app!
Many ways to play even with family and friends or just by yourself. I like the fact that when the questions are answered (right or wrong) you get the answer via the scripture that the answer is located. A great study tool as well!
