Bug fixes and performance improvements
Bible Year divides daily readings into four sections: OT History & Prophets, Wisdom Books & Isaiah, Gospels, and Epistles and Acts. This approach aims to keep readers engaged by pairing potentially challenging Old Testament books with more accessible Psalms and Gospels.
Yes, Bible Year includes spoken audio for the ESV Bible text, allowing users to listen to the readings.
The app incorporates "makeup" days, with each month having 25 days of readings. This allows users to miss a few days without falling significantly behind, making the plan more sustainable.
Yes, Bible Year is configurable with a starting month, so you can begin reading through the Bible in a year at any point, not just on January 1st.
You can mark readings as completed to track your progress. The app also displays the number of days you are ahead or behind the schedule, including the "makeup" days.
Bible Year uses the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible text.
