Love the concept, but too limited behind paywall

The idea behind this app is great, but it’s hard to fully enjoy it since almost everything requires a subscription. The free tier only gives you about 5 minutes a day for the verse of the day, plus a bit more once a week for the weekly chapter. Beyond that, every way to earn more time is gated behind payment. It’s more for a specific group willing to pay than for just anyone.

I came over from BePresent hoping for a fresh challenge, but the lack of any real free path to engage more deeply was disappointing.

I absolutely love this incentive to stay consistent in reading the Bible daily because it’s made me realize how important it is to be aware of the little snares in life that so easily can pull me away from what’s most important and that’s starting my day in Gods word. This app has made it fun and I look forward to following a reading plan & the little test at the end is my favorite part!!
The test pushes me to really get into the word and not just “read” it, because I really want to retain the Truth. (Plus I love the confetti lol)

Finally, An App Like This

Been using BibleGate and I thoroughly love it and the idea behind it. It helps me be more intentional with my time and put Scripture first before getting distracted by other apps (no more doomscrolling!).

Simple, useful, more than effective, and genuinely different from a normal Bible app.

Best App Blocker Ever

I’ve tried multiple app blockers and all of them were just kinda meh. Easy to get around permissions and no real incentive to use them. Until I downloaded BibleGate. I absolutely love the fact that I am earning my time on my social media apps instead of starting endlessly at them. I also love how much I am learning by reading the Bible every day and the Grow plans in the app. And it’s not just boring, stuffy reading - the learning is genuinely fun! I’d give this app 10 stars if I could - highly recommend!
