Your soul needs this App!

It was a strange adjustment at first but then it became very comforting—like a reliable friend who is always there to keep you accountable, uplifted , and on-track. In fact, when I switched phones and suddenly I wasn’t locked out of my mind-numbing apps I felt a slight sense of panic & enabled the block feature immediately. This has been a game changer for my walk with God. Even when I set the timer for one minute I always stay much longer.

Incredible App

This app is so helpful in not getting distracted, so simple to use and install. So grateful for this app!

Forcing the habit

This app is forcing a better habit of reading my Bible every morning instead of the bad habit of social media. It sets my day on the right path. Each day’s verse stays with me through the day. And when I click on my social media notifications first, it reminds me that I need to read my Bible first. One minute is all it takes to read and reflect. And when that is done, I really don’t open Social Media after all, because it was a bad habit, not a need.

Love that I am held back from Social Media

This has helped me from getting caught up in Social Media and to sink into The Word. I am disappointed that I cannot select what I want to read and some mornings Bible Scroll hands me something that I have just read on Bible Scroll the day before- repeating. I would like to be able to read the Old Testament AND The New Testament from cover to cover and it appears I do not have the option to customize. I do not like being “feed” what this app wants to feed me verses being able to read the whole bible cover to cover. What this has been good for is keeping me from going on my iPad or phone to social media and getting lost in social media ignoring time with Jesus! That IS the one great thing about BibleScroll.

Love BibleScoll and suggestions

I have enjoyed the fact that it pauses my Instagram scrolling. It’s a wonderful concept and a great way to focus 15 or more minutes on the Bible. I wish I was able to set up a learning series where maybe we look at the book of Esther, for example and we pick up each day with where we left off so that we have consistency around the series vs random Bible verses and lessons. If that were possible I would enjoy it even more. I would like to incorporate regular Bible study for each book of the Bible. This could be maybe an advanced or premium option? But again I am enjoying it.

Thank you so much!

This app has actually helped me in the morning when reading the Word. I’ve had trouble just waking up and going straight to social media and it’s become and addiction but BibleScroll has changed the game for me!!

Doesn’t Work as Advertised

First, it doesn’t turn the apps back on.
Second, they give you the option to “donate”, but don’t give options on the amount. They only give annual and weekly, which is not a donation it is a subscription with a pretty bow on it. If you were to provide a way to donate however little or much we can as often as we want that is a donation. You should do it like Rocket money used to.
Third, and finally, there are only 4 translations to choose from. None of which are common translations most people trust. I was under the impression that I could read my own Bible or maybe the regular Bible app, but even if not at least NIV, ESV, or NASB1995.

Easy, yet meaningful

The simplicity is so refreshing during this crazy season of my life. I’m overstimulated just thinking about picking out a devotional but this app does it for you! Simple yet strong messages. Short enough to manage but deep enough to have power. When I’m overwhelmed I would just doom scroll to escape and then feel even worse about my choice to avoid time in the word. But this has changed that and brought so much peace and eliminated my toxic relationship with my phone. Thank you!!!!

Good Concept

Like the concept, but I dislike not being able to have more options on Bible translations. None of the translations available are translations I use. I also dislike that there is no clear indication between deleting account and canceling subscription. I never signed up for a subscription, but for some reason it is letting me use the app. Doesn’t show in phone app purchases as having subscribe and nothing in the app to show account status and so on. Only gives option to delete account. I love the idea of being not being able to access apps until reading Bible. Just need more user options .

Welcome Accountability

I know that my Lord loves me and wants me to focus on Him before confronting the world or wasting my time, but having a visible app offering me that wonderful communion with Him is a physical reminder that helps me make that first step daily. The verses and Scripture have been exactly what I have needed each day, which is thankfully the way God often reaches out. The extra messages each morning are Biblically sound and often lead me on to continue reading more chapters. This is a great app. Thank you for the accountability!

Very helpful

This is very helpful to remember to read every day and to write and to stay focused on Him 1 Corinthians 10:6-9Now these things took place as examples for us, so will not desire evil things as they did. Don’t become idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and got up to party. 8 Let us not commit sexual immorality as some of them did, and in a single day twenty-three thousand people died. Let us not test Christ Jesus as some of them did and were destroyed my snakes. 1Corinthians 10:30-32 If I partake with thanksgiving, why am I criticized because of something for which I give thanks? So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the GLORY OF GOD. Give no offense to Jews or Greeks or the Church of God (John 15:9-17)

Tiny pauses impact perspective

I was already trying to start with God time before anything else each day. But when the phone is ringing and life is calling before you’ve even got your head off the pillow, it is so easy to miss that important pause completely. Having this little “pause enforcer” in place gives me that second chance and doing so puts a much better, and more accurate, perspective on the day. Thanks!

Lack of ease to navigate settings after you’ve joined. No audio option

Love the The app tremendously. It truly has helped. However it’s not the easiest to navigate. It’s not hard, just takes a little extra time. I would say, I am a moderate tech savvy person, so the younger might have much easier time finding how to change already established settings.
Wish there was an audio option. With my dyslexia, it helps to listen and read along with the audio.

Got a streak for reading the Bible!

I set up BibleScroll to lock all of my entertainment and social media apps. It is surprising to me that WhatsApp was considered something under these categories, and since I use it to connect with my family a lot, it was funny to see how many times I had to go read the Bible before I started reaching out to everyone else. Sometimes I would go into Facebook marketplace to sell something and needed to review Messenger, but found I had to wait and read the Bible first. I really liked that the app allows you to choose how long to read the Bible for, every time. It doesn’t have to be a preset amount of time, you can adjust it daily based on your an availability. At $10/wk, it is the most expensive subscription service I have. I think everyone should at least try it one week.

FIRST Day and Hooked! Life Changing!

What a POSITIVE experience on my very FIRST day! I did not want to stop reading. Anything that I did not understand or wanted more in-depth understanding. I copied and put into ChatGPT of which helped me even further to understand deeply! What a blessing…This app life-changing in a positive way on day 1 !!!!!!! I believe the best is yet to come!
I love the highlighting capability and the way it will allow you to share a verse! What we feed & fill our minds and hearts with will overflow into the rest of our life and the lives around us. This is what I’ve needed all along. It’s so user-friendly. ❤️ I am thankful God inspired you to create this ! 💯 I feel like this is going to really deep in my relationship with God.
Thank you!!!!

Simple but revolutionary

Best app I’ve come across yet. The one thing that actually efficiently mandates time in the word… and you know you need it… but by the time you open the app to get it out of the way so you can unlock your other apps… you don’t just need it you want it. It can be inconvenient sometimes in the best possible way… but ultimately it needs to be to work… because when you open the app and begin reading scripture, you realize why you made it a priority and how extensive and abundant gods grace really is to meet you in any situation. Hope yall enjoy. This is an ingenious app

It has literally curbed my social media addiction

To be honest, I didn’t really have high expectations for this app. But funny it enough, I love how it couples the principles of daily Bible ready streaks with locked timers for your social media app - IT GUARANTEES that you are ready the WORD of God first and foremost before you ever double tap any content on the internet. What was most surprising for me though is that I genuinely found interest (and life) through what I was reading daily and then the actually social media app lost its power over me. I had no interest in continuing to mindlessly scroll. Instead I was satisfied with the Word and found better things to do.

It’s changed me, my habits, and my life!

Thank you

A Better Way to Scroll—and Sleep Better

Bible Scroll has been a game-changer for me. Like many people, I found myself mindlessly scrolling social media late at night, consuming content that often increased my anxiety, stole my peace, and robbed me of sleep. This app has helped me replace doom scrolling with something far more meaningful.

Instead of wasting time on endless feeds, Bible Scroll redirects my attention to God’s Word and keeps my focus on what truly matters. It’s amazing how much calmer, more grounded, and more purposeful I feel when I end my day reading Scripture instead of social media.

If you’re looking for a practical way to spend less time on social media, reduce anxiety, improve your sleep, and grow spiritually, I highly recommend Bible Scroll. It’s helped me be more intentional with my time and has become a daily habit that adds value to my life instead of draining it. 🙏📖✨

Accountability

It definitely makes you think twice about what is important. The accountability is appreciated when alone priorities can get mismanaged sometimes. I am expecting this lockout to create a new habit for me.

Update...after using this app for a while now, I have some more opinions. I do like the accountability and highlighting options, but I haven't found a way to change the translation or for audio either. It's a pretty simple app that doesn't give any options to change anything or make it personal, but it's a good way to be sure you're at least reading the Word before other apps.

It works!

It does what it says it will do. Keeps me in the Word before all the distracting apps I go to first thing in the morning. I am reading more scripture because of this app and nothing else has worked before this.
