Great Resources, Offline Functionality is Flawed
When using the app offline, it repeatedly kicks me out of my downloaded videos to tell me that I’m not connected to the internet. I can of course go right back to listening to the downloaded content, but it just keeps happening. This makes the app difficult to use because I’m almost always driving while using it, and I can’t pick up my phone to restart the video.
The resources are great. The layout is excellent, and I really enjoy the lectures while I drive to work each day! I recommend this app to anyone who wants to sharped their sword!

An awesome resource to learn the Word of God
What a great app!! This is a portable seminary with great instruction from great teachers. I recommend it to anyone trying to learn the word of God.
Fantastic Resource
Easy to use app with great content and teachers. You can download the trainings so they’re available whenever and many come with great outlines and resources. Classes available whether you’re learning from the ground up or want something more advanced.
Progress unavailable
I've only been using this app for about a week now and I love that I'm able to learn so much from the lectures and classes available. The only real problem I've had is that I'm unable to pick up where I've left off. This applies to when the app refreshes if I move to another app for a short time or even when returning the next day. The "my progress" and "archive" tabs show nothing, and there doesn't seem to be any option to "select" any of the lectures/classes in order to place them in these categories.
If these were to be fixed it would help tremendously. Please and thank you🙏🏼

5 Star for content. The training resources are great!
App could be better technically.
1. Reliability*. Not able to open it today. Guessing this has something to do with incompatibility with the latest iOS update, but not sure.
*Update: after deleting the app and redownloading it, it opens again!
2. Cross platform syncing - Lessons watched/complete have had trouble syncing with the website version.
3. Have been unable to find the downloadable content for offline listening
Despite these deficiencies, still deserving of 5 stars because of the quality of content, free of charge, free of ads. I imagine it difficult to decide where to invest more into, the technology for user experience, or creating/publishing new and improved content.

Good Content, bad app
Great content, but you're better off with the website. Player stops if you exit the app.
App needs some work
I love the content, I don’t love the app or the website.
1. I want to be able to download classes to listen offline and I can’t.
2. I want to be able to listen to the classes while I am at work and if I press play and close the screen, the audio stops. Not sure why, but if I listen with my screen open, my battery will drain fast.
Please make a way to download classes and listen offline and with the screen closed.

Helpful - Needs work!
This app is an incredible gift for those seeking to learn from the best. I’ve used it off and on for a couple years now. I would honestly use it much more often if it was more user friendly. The layout and operating system really need some help. The program is often glitchy, and navigating the available classes or even seeing what is available is rather confusing and unintuitive. On a smaller note (since I can’t complain about free resources) the overall quality/production value of these course can drastically differ from one another.
I would really love to see a massive update that changes the layout and menus to be more user-friendly and more easily explored

Great content, clunky app
Love the content on this app, but it no longer allows downloads, doesn’t save your progress on classes you’ve listened to, and only plays audio while your screen is on. As soon as your phone locks the screen, the audio stops playing. Makes it really hard to use, even if you want to use it.
Great content, playback issues
Downloaded courses don’t play. The playback stops when I leave the app or lock my phone.
Can’t get into the app
I installed the app on August 30 on my iPad and it worked quite well. Have been able to listen to several lectures in the Life of the Spiritual Leader course. Went back in this morning to listen to another one and can’t get past the opening screen. All I can do is rotate but can’t get into the app’s content. I’m sure you never intended to do that. I’m also using the app with VoiceOver screen reader. Hoping this problem can be fixed and would love to see a version for the iPad as well as iPhone as I prefer to listen to content on my iPad. Looking forward to being able to access this app again.

Great Resource
My only complaint is that I am not able to speed up the audio. A lot of lectures can be listened to at 1.5x - 2x speed. It does make a big difference. Thanks.
A Few Issues.
I loved this app about a year ago, but there seems to be many problems now. The search works to find topics I’m after but gives me no way to select and listen, or read any of them. A useless search if you ask me.
The audio only plays while open, that’s a huge battery drainer, it would be a really great addition to allow you lock and keep playing.
I hope these can get fixed or added so we can use this app easier.

True and Better
As Miles Van Pelt loves to say, his trainings are “true and better” than many teachings. His survey of the Old Testament teachings are well organized, condensed, and give even a simpleton like myself a clear understanding of the fundamental teachings and foundation of the Old Testament. Take advantage because these are a privilege!

If you are a Christian leader of any sort, or even just a serious Christian, get this app and try something - even just one session of one course (you probably drive or walk a lot, do it then!) The breadth and depth of content is not just a bunch of egg-heads shaking hands; this is a faith exchange of heart-felt passionate Christians who happen to be experts in their fields.
Between the fact it’s free, the spiritual honesty of all the professors, the high standard for biblical truth, the scholarly insight, and availability to non-Evangelicals, this app is a hidden gem.
My only complaint used to be the clunky and out of date interface, but now it is sleek and fully functional. You rock, Bill!
