A Huge Hassle
While Bicycle Health appears to be a fairly seamless way to obtain treatment, there are constant hoops to jump through. I think my counselor, Perla, is a former parole officer. In addition to the poor bedside manner, I was over-charges by Bicycle Health. The company refuses to rescind the bill.
Life changing!
Saved my life.
In it for the money only
Avoid these crooks. Insurance use to cover. Now it doesn’t. I pay $250 a month. I missed my appt. And theres no openings for 13 days. So they think its for us to with out ur meds and be sick. What about my Dr who is late all the time for appt. And sometimes cancels the appt an hour before my appt. Is she given a late fee?

My experiences
I have been with bicycle for about a year now , and I have nothing but good things to say about them, every time I have had any issue and needed help I have gotten in contact with them, they have worked with me and helped me out immediately everyone has been very nice and very helpful if you are struggling and need help, this is the perfect place to get that. I highly recommend it as long as u do what is needed they will be very accommodating and helpful.

Lies about pricing
This app is something to tread carefully with. They lie about the price, and don’t actually inform you of fees you’re racking up. I discovered this after trying to see documents on the app, that I had racked up close to $1300 in about a month of using this service. It was marketed as $35 a month….this isn’t my pharmaceutical prices, those were paid separately, they’re billing you and hiding it.

Billing Issues
If you were considering MAT I would highly recommend you go with a different company besides bicycle health I have had nothing but problems with their financial and billing department from the beginning. I have no idea what their issue is why they can’t get their financial department straight, but I have had tons of problems the entire time. I constantly have to call to address billing issues and their representatives are never able to solve the problem. It’s always some huge drawn out ordeal.
Try a different company. There are tons of other ones out there.

Many Paths
I have been struggling with my addiction since I was 17 years old. I was in and out of rehabs since I was 30. I was unable to understand that addiction was more than my drug use. I was miserable most of the time. When I was 40 I went into rehab and they talked to me about Suboxone. This medication along with therapy and meetings, and my willingness to do the work on myself was a pivotal factor in me getting better. I still relapsed and it got worse. July 17, 2017, I was so low and a shell of the person I was. I was going to meetings, but comparing out! I finally realized “I” was the problem. Drug use was the most obvious symptom. I sat my butt in the chair at meetings and listened.By now I had been on medication a long time and my life was getting better. The problem for me was the provider was just prescribing the MAT and doing a drug screen. Then they would go find something else to do and I would have to find another provider. 15 months ago, my former provider left the practice and gave me a few numbers for MAT programs, Bicycke Health was one of them. I liked the idea of the program being on line., so I registered. My life from that moment has sky rocketed forward. The Peer support are angels. I have never been in a group where I felt I was not heard. I feel supported in my journey and today i can say I love myself. Through the peer support at Bicycle, and the Medical providers and my provider, Tarrah is so kind, compassionate, and present while I’m speaking, I feel like I never had this kind of support in my life. This time, I’m sticking and staying right here. Bicycle Health is my pathway to recovery.

Did not help
I applied for my husband at the time. He was a drug user. He had implied that suboxone helped ease the want for explicit drugs. I could not relate to him at the time. Now after 5 years I have to take them as well. #lessonlearned
Bots
The groups and providers or gold, the platform and the bots and the shift that telemedicine has made to cutting the wages of their providers. Will be leaving for turnkey service. After 4 years, peace out
SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU CANCEL. LEGIT SCAM. RUN!!!!!

App update doesn’t work
Terrible. Need to reschedule my appointment but the glitch isn’t letting me do ANYTHING NOW. Way to force people to update to reschedule appointments when a new untested update doesn’t even work. Absolutely terrible. WHEN they fix this it will go back to 5 stars.
Hands down best program
I was with Workit health for 5 months before my insurance changed and they had no interest in helping me figure out coverage. My insurance and myself called multiple times to explain that they would cover the costs but Workit had no interest in even answering the phone and when they did they were extremely rude and had absolutely no compassion. I’ve been with bicycle for a few months now and the difference is astounding. I get the same NP each visit whom I love! Shout out to you Stephanie! Someone give that beautiful woman a raise!!! The groups are plentiful and personal. Some you can sit back and just listen and others are interactive which is amazing for parents or working busy individuals. They work with your insurance and really fight for your care. Bicycle saved my life… truly.

Horrible communication, providers are incompetent
No communication within the app. No one to talk to about anything. When they do respond back to you, it’s days later.
Joke of a company
At first it was cool they accept your insurance, It ends up costing $40 after co-pays. Then they tell you that the FDA. Requires you to attend 60mins of meetings a month to get your prescription, Plus your monthly visit, I was told 2-3 times I didn’t even have to pay attention to the meetings I could just turn off my camera and put it on mute and turn the volume down and not even listen to the meetings. Which wasn’t a huge problem until they started charging my insurance an extra $577 dollars a month to attend the meetings, And if you go over the 60 minutes they can charge your insurance more money, So a few times I was charged $677 dollars for doing 70 minutes, Plus there timer for the meetings doesn’t even work or show up on your app correctly, Then when you try and get help with times on your meetings it’s a huge run around. But rest assured they will read your message and send you 2-3 emails or app notifications and text messages, telling you to pay your copay as soon as it comes in, I saw I think 4-5 doctors in a year time frame. So no one knew my plan other than reading from the last doctor.
One appointment the lady seemed to be walking on a treadmill, and had the tv on in the back round. Super unprofessional, when complained I was send a grievance link to fill out a form, I never heard anything about it after that. But long story short, they charged my insurance $199 for a follow up every month which was normal. I pay a $40 dollar co pay. Then for my meetings they charged my insurance between $577-$677 depending on how long i attended the meetings, so another $40 copay, then to read my drug test they charge insurance another $36 dollars. My co pay $8? And every 3 months they send you drug tests and charge your insurance I think another $70 not 100%, Either way in just copays it’s about $86-$90 a month while they charge your insurance between $800-$900 a month for treatment. So around 10k a year give me a break. There are other companies out there much better, I found out my new doctor said the fda doesn’t require me to do any meetings. Seeing meetings are free all over town and on zoom.
They were legit at first and now they just upped their price.
lol also one of the meetings i attended about recovery was maybe 30 minutes of a lady and the group talking about there fur babies. So they got to charge my insurance $9 dollars a minute to listen to that. Lots lots of help it did. I don’t recommend them.

Was great until they cut me off cold turkey on several meds
Before I started with bicycle I was getting clonidine and seroquel from another provider and asked atleast 5 different people at bicycle if they could prescribe me those meds, everybody said no problem.
2 months in my provider is gone new provider and they cut me off cold turkey, after I triple checked before I dropped my old provider, I haven’t slept in 6 days at this point because I had to cold turkey stop both.
Which could be dangerous since the clonidine is a blood pressure medication, but they wouldn’t even give me enough to taper off.
I wouldn’t recommend bicycle anymore I think they don’t take there patients health seriously and they have put me in a dangerous spot with a high chance of relapse because they put me on medication then decided to randomly stop it, not taper over time, not give me something to replace it or time to find a new provider, so it’s day 6 of no sleep and I’m barely holding it together, be careful expect them to randomly mess with your meds.

Fantastic
Bicycle health has been a godsend. I was driving 5 cities over to get detox help meds and then my car broke down. I couldn’t afford to uber or get rides to my doctors office. I found bicycle health through a google search and been using them ever since. Everything is easy and my doctor is amazing! I don’t feel judged or uncomfortable. Highly recommend bicycle health.

Completely Ruined
It’s literally impossible to speak with an actual human which is sickening for people who are in the therapy business. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone for help for 3 weeks and these monsters just have a bot respond. They need to be investigated and shut down as they’re just ripping off vulnerable people at this point. Complete scum behavior.

RUN!!
In 10 years I've never ran out meds. I've been with this joke of a service for 3 months and have ran out TWICE with no response from anyone. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE TREATING OTHERS!!!
Good app and CA Dr.s are great…,but
The app was good and I have been a patient for about 21/2-3 years now. Then just recently they started requiring you do, minimum of 1hour, of their support groups. Even if you do N.A., celebrate recovery, smart rec., etc. on your own, they still make you do 60 min between your Dr appointments. The meetings are all the time and different style ones too which isn’t the issue, my problem is I can’t say H*****e or anything like M******e pills and can only say D.O.C. for drug of choice. And I had a problem using needles just as much as my DOC so I don’t share ever now. They also don’t take my insurance and never will most likely but they started in CA which blows my ideas into paintings, oops don’t call 911 on me again or give my info to other clients it was a slip of my words and would never write/type something like that in a review on purpose.
