Working fine but needs polish
I’ve been able to add and confirm spots, but the drag and drop on the map can be tough to use, there is no guide to the different parking types, and generally the UI is not great. It has excellent potential! I hope there will be the ability in future to sync the data BACK to something like OSM.
Glad this exists
It is so nice to be able to plan ahead knowing where you can park your bike ahead of time. I love this and also like how easy it is to add a bike rack when I see one. Great community app
Excellent App
If you bike riders do as I do and when you see a parking space for bikes, register them. It is great app for us to help ourselves and each other.
Great!
Great little app! Consider adding the ability to move the pin to anywhere on the screen not just where you are currently. I was in a hurry and couldn’t add to the map at a certain time, and I wanted to add the location and upload a photo later but I can’t. Consider adding this feature — just drop and pin and upload the photo you took earlier. I’ll be back and add the spot at a later date but this would be helpful.
Also, add the ability to put a note for folks — for instance I wanted to put that the courtyard closes at 5 pm and gate is locked so don’t leave your bike inside courtyard — just wanted to add additional info for users.

Crashing & question
If you’re having problems with the app crashing, try using the “upload later” feature! It has helped a lot for me.
More of a question than a review - I’ve uploaded several new spots on the app today. Got the confirmation screen and everything. I don’t see them on the map - does another user have to verify them or something? Want to make sure all of my setting are right.

Good app but needs riders help
I saw there were very few parking spaces marked in Sydney so on my rides I am marking them out. Would help if you do this too
Great concept, community driven
Loving this app so far, exactly what I was looking for. Very simple and intuitive to use. Hoping this becomes more popular.
I have noticed some places have duplicate submissions of the same bike racks- maybe this could be solved by allowing others to submit their photo to the same pin, instead of creating a whole new pin for the same bike rack.

Love this app
I was looking for an app that just would show bike parking, and this one fit the bill. Curious to see how this grows after more riders discover it. Love how it is really driven by bikers in the community.
Helps find spots when in need!
This app has been great for me. There’s been various times where this app has helped me find bike parking when I can’t find any. I wish there was the option to upload photos of bike parking instead of just the camera option.
Great idea, quite basic
This is a great app, but very basic in terms of features and can be a little laggy at times.
I think this will be a really useful resource once users populate all the locations.
A few potential improvements:
- It would be good if the the “type of cycle parking” option was a bit more obvious.
- Ability to edit “type of cycle parking” where it is not already populated.
- some tech support to improve speed if app, particularly when sending a new location.
- ability to move the pin on the map more easily so that you can take a photo and then add it later (this would be helpful if there is a lack of signal etc.)
Other than that it is a great resource. I look forward to using it!

Good idea if it did not crash
The app crashes when moving the map. Also since there was no base data loaded it is a long road to being of use.
no pins
good idea but absolutely no info
An hour wasted
I spent an hour taking pictures of bike parking spots using the upload later feature. When I hit the upload button it erased everything and now none of the spots show up on that map.
Thank you a lot!!!

Expand to other bike friendly infrastructure
I’ve been looking for something like this only to cover other bike friendly locations. Please consider having an additional icon to add for bike friendly shops. Such as small stores for getting a lunch or snack that are just storefronts and not surrounded by lots of parking. These would be a place where one might aim to stop to get a deli sandwich or coffee or baked treats. Storefronts only. Parking for bikes available. Not lots of cars. And not on busy streets. You could specify the criteria and let people add these small bike friendly locations.

Does not work as advertised
The app is basically unusable. Nothing shows up in my area, and when I go to add one based on a list from my city government all I get is a black screen and I can’t place a marker without taking a picture first. This app is not intuitive to use at all.
Response from developer
Thanks for trying the app! Single spots can be added with the app on location. The black screen is likely caused by a covered camera lens or bad lighting. Please send us a link to any external data sources that you would like included in the app and we will gladly import the data for everyone to see.
Such a cool idea
This is just what I was looking for — and I was surprised to see that there’s a lot of data in my city already.
Great Idea
I love the idea and easy to use interface, needs more users though to make useful but some cities have a lot of parking spots labeled.
Decent start
Great app idea but I would love to be able to search types of bike parking. For instance I prefer bike lockers for peace of mind and it would be great to search for just lockers. Perhaps even give lockers have a different icon.
Amazing Idea, lacks features and content
This is an incredible idea for an App, and would be truly unique and very useful but for the lack of content.
I live in the UK and there were absolutely no pins in and around my commuting area. I decided to have a quick scan over the Capitol, London, and found no locations had been added there.
I understand that the content is entirely crowd sourced and so dependent on the number and diligence of App users. Perhaps you could reach out to a few non-profit bicycle companies/promoters (e.g. Urban Cycle) to help you retrieve more data to fill your App?
Also, a feature that allows the user to search for a particular location, I believe, is pertinent (or rather ESSENTIAL) to an app such as this.
Just these two improvements would make this App one worth downloading. I would in fact pay good money for an app with great content and a search feature, since knowledge like this is priceless.
I hope this helps. Like I said, it is a fantastic idea but it falls short of expectation, unfortunately.
