Amazing App

Love this app, now using it for the second time! However, the formatting in the articles seems to have gone a little awry in the latest couple of versions compared to when I used it a couple of years ago.

Life’s surprises

What to expect when expecting. It greats facts and up to date info. Easy to use and to the point.

Stellar

Love this app. Very informative. Used it for my first kid.

Helpful information, but really passive aggressive comments

The information given is definitely helpful and definitely will help out some dads who need it. But, some of the comments made about the moms-to-be are simply unnecessary and passive aggressive.

Week 25: “your partner might notice that her hands and feet are getting a little swollen lately. This is very common in pregnancy . . . Don’t tell her she’s looking less like a human and more like a balloon animal.”

I get that it’s trying to be funny, but does the creator of this app think all men are idiots and would actually need someone to tell them to not insult their wife/partner? I don’t understand why that’s necessary.

Super Helpful App - First Time Dad

Love the app so far, it’s very insightful and the objects used to compare measurements crack me up! I do wish there was an option to convert the measurements for those of us who don’t use the metric system within the app.

It’s great

I’m only using the free version so I don’t have access to the contraction counter, hospital bag, baby checklist etc.. however this app is amazing for providing updates weekly of how baby is growing and how the Mrs is going to be feeling. It’s been really helpful to understand what is normal and what to expect as it’s all mostly explained to the mother during the midwife/doctor meetings.

It also put things into easy ways to understand, for example, this week (29 weeks) he is the weight of a tomahawk steak, so now when the Mrs is complaining of her bump being heavy, I can get one of these on the BBQ and really relate to what she is feeling! 😂

Big Daddy App

It was a lot of fun to read the little articles and reminders every week. The way it encouraged me and my wife was awesome. Got some laughs out of the different comparisons it did through out the pregnancy! Recommend for any man 10/10

Babies are for the Boys!

Love this app. Helps me understand what’s going on with the Mrs and my baby. I read everything and read it to my wife too. Love all the info.

Hyperemesis gravidarum

It saddens me to see all this app offers but nothing on Hyperemesis gravidarum my wife has this incurable disease that has many asking once I tell them she is HG they ask what is it? There are a good few women who have this and it’s not talked about enough to educate people on the topic, it’s a very scary and life threatening disease to the mother and baby and I hope to see in the future more talk about this and ways to help these women who suffer through it if they even can make it through it without termination or death to the baby or mother everyday I wake up knowing I could lose one or both and all I can do is watch her suffer and i sit Idlelea by her it’s a pain I suffer knowing there’s nothing I can do to help so I hope in this review something can help change the topic of HG till then i will still be an advocate for those women in hopes of change and talk

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

What a fantastic app! We’re currently at 38 weeks and I got this at 2 weeks. It’s been a life saver in so many ways. The weekly descriptions are bang on. The checklists are really in depth and easy to use. The contraction counter is great! We haven’t officially used that yet, but it’s really simple and accurate. Can’t recommend this app enough. Every Dad, GET IT!

(Never normally review but this was needed)

Third Time Around

This is my third child and I’ve used this app every single time. It’s so much great information in this app, and it got jokes 😂😂😂

But most definitely keeps you up to date on what’s going on with you child and the mother, so as a father you are prepared for what’s going on with baby and your wife.

It’s great.

40 weeks of awesome!!!

Designed for to-be-dads this app is a great way to give us the right amount of info on a way we can relate. More importantly, it gives you content you can share with your wife to show you are involved and engaged in what’s happening to her.

Highly recommended for all dads.

My Wife and I are expecting our second child. I really liked the free version but my curiosity got the better of me so I paid for the full version.

Let me tell you, that I wish I had all of that information the first time. The very first time I heard the term pre-eclampsia was the day my wife was admitted to the hospital at 29 weeks. Everything this app has to offer is pure gold.

Great app for first time dads.

Really useful to first time Dad

A really helpful and informative app that provided a lot of information in a very clear to understand way. Would highly recommend to all expecting Dad’s.

Oversimplified and missing key information

I was excited about an app that geared to men. However very early on I noticed that almost all of the features are locked and an upgrade is required. The other apps that I use has this information for free. The second is the poor information for early pregnancy weeks 0-4. The free basic passages lump all of these together as the time it takes the sperm and egg to meet! Wow so much more cool and critical thinkings happens In Early stage pregnancy that other apps go into a lot of details about what is happening to baby and mom. Ill just stick to reading the “women “ apps to make sure I understand what is going on with my partner.
