Lousy App - nothing works
Allows entry for members to the gym. That is all. It does not record even how many times a member attends the gym in a week or month. This is of course the essential foundation metric for anyone using a gym. “How many days per week/month on average do I use the gym?” .
I have emailed BigSky twice; spoken once politely to the evasive and disingenuous person behind the desk at my gym. Clearly BigSky is avoiding the issue as I have not received any form of response.
It is an average to high average gym brought lower by this small issue. Why average? The equipment is good, serviceable almost all the time but like most gyms in Canada there are the usual phone talkers on the treadmill, the persons who carries their possessions around the gym in a duffle/sack/pack the members who wear ball caps indoors while exercising and the shoeless and barefoot persons. Good grief. When busy the gym does not have enough spray bottles for equipment wipe down post-use.

Updates Slowly or Never
This app does not seem to be properly connected to the gym system as it’s not showing any of my past data. It’s also really slow to show that a class has actually been cancelled, even though it is reflected differently in the MindBody app. I’ve had to use the MindBody app more than Big Sky Fitness app for Big Sky Fitness gym classes- unfortunate.

Terrible.
The only thing this app is currently good for, is scanning myself into the gym. It doesn't track your attendance, it doesn't sync with any "wearables" and I have never been able to successfully book into a class.
Check ins are not tracking correctly
Please fix the stats section under profile > stats. I have checked in many times between Sept and December, every time using the app, and the stats in the app always say ‘0 visits this month’ and there’s no info under ‘most frequented day’ or ‘most attended time’.
Keeps Kicking Me Out
Trying to set up my account and each time I get to the the referral section I get kicked out of the app as soon as I click on it. Won’t let me leave it blank (I don’t have a referral).
Birthday date pop up isn’t working properly. It’s below the screen and barely usable. Wouldn’t let me select a year so had to scroll all the way back through 35+ years in the calendar pop up. And then got kicked out of the app when I tried to select the mandatory referral.
Also why is it mandatory to put in weight? This should be optional.
