No Bueno

Does magazine still exist . App doesn’t let me download anything

Disillusioned

I loved this magazine up until they started to advertise for the violent cult movement blm. In good conscience, I can no longer support this magazine.

Brutal app

Don’t even bother. Just go buy the paper version. Having to pinch and zoom to read an article is such a drag. Such a bummer. Would gladly pay for magazine if it had a good app experience.

Electronic subscription

Why are issues out so infrequently and with no rhyme nor reason?

The last one I received was September, and no matter how many times I ‘restore’ or delete and reload the app....

What gives?

App no longer works

The thumbnails bar will not collapse so I can’t read the issue

No customer support, in app subscription doesn’t work

no customer support. subscribed, got 2 min of content then it was all locked down. 4 emails to the customer service group and no answer.

Have they stopped publishing?

It is September and there have only been 3 issues (Jan, April, June). Hard to give a good review here. Not sure what exactly I’m paying for.

Everything you want

Always a great insight into riding with objective tests of bike and gear

Updates please!

Please update the app to iOS 12.3.1 so that I can get the latest issues. I am tired of contacting customer service.

It does not update to the latest issue

I am it quite sure how such a great magazine has not figured out how to make its up update to the latest issue. It does not only not recognize my subscription, but also can be stuck with a 3 month old issue as the latest one even when two other have come out on print from..

Price difference & unresponsive

Subscriptions are more expensive in app than listed on website. Customer support is unresponsive.

So disappointing

This is a fantastic magazine, one of the best mountain bike mags out there. The app is poles apart. It is clunky and unstable. You pay for subscription and are then asked to be patient whilst the content updates, “if it doesn’t work, try again a bit later”.

Cannot access new issues.... 😡😡😡

I am having the same problem as others on here. Every time I open the app, it directs me to "Subscribe" Although I am already a subscriber and I've been charged for a yearlong subscription. This is a real disappointment. The content of the magazine looks great, if only I could actually get what I paid for...

Recent Issues

I’ve been trying for a month to restore my issues. After deleting the app, restarting my iPad, and reinstalling I was able to once again download issues. The only problem: it’s December and the most recent issue is October. Why???

Do Not Buy

The subscriptions do not work. You are throwing your money away.

And yes, I have hit restore purchases until my finger bleeds. Apple should remove this company from the store. Complete rip-off.

Edit: I contacted Bike, followed all their instructions and guess what: it still doesn’t work! I’m not sure these guys know what they are doing. Do not buy!

I am done with this app

The last two major updates have been a disaster for me. I was able to resolve the first one after a couple of months. This one, not so much. I followed the instructions, and I still do not have access to the subscription that I paid for. Again. To add insult to injury, my effing subscription renewed one month prior! I have fixed this problem for me, though. I have deleted the app, canceled the auto-renew, and will never have to worry about this garbage ever again. Thanks again for stealing my money.

Unable to download or restore.

I am a long time subscriber but after changing iPad am unable to view any of my magazines. Rey disappointed.

Have tried: uninstalled the app and then reinstalled. Still no joy

Subscription does not work

Useless. I’ve done everything suggested and I still can’t read the subscription I PAID FOR! I deleted and redownloaded the app, I clicked “restore subscription”, I confirmed a paid subscription, yet all It does is ask me to subscribe. FIX YOUR APP!!

Losing customers

I’m a loyal subscriber but your app issues are ruining my experience. I’ve already tried reinstalling the app and restoring subscriptions. Please fix your app before you lose me for good.

Great mag, utterly useless app

Existing iTunes subscriber, unable to sign in with iTunes ID at all. Therefore unable to view mags I’ve bought and previously downloaded, and unable to view two new issues (and counting) with my extant subscription. Losing patience.

Bike Mag’s excellence being seriously undermined by this app. Oh and unless it’s sorted out you owe me money.

Update following developer’s response: the suggested remedy does not work in viewing new magazines at all; only previously-downloaded ones, which can be re-downloaded. Zinio have since provided me with a password and I now log in with my email. This works, but effectively means I now no longer access via my iTunes subscription and therefore I won’t renew it next year. So while I have a solution of sorts, the issue itself has not been solved.
