Best bike app I have used
This app has showed me easy and safe ways to get places in my city that I did not know about. It is easy to use, has voice prompts and a great screen. The best part is the flyover feature
Great app, one suggestion
I’m enjoying using this app so far and helping add to the database of low stress streets in my city, but it would increase the functionality so much if there was a way to create a custom route to a destination from the Ride screen. So far the only options are using one of the suggested routes or freestyling your ride with no route.

I really appreciate this app; as someone who deeply concerned about the environment, and is really trying to use my bike rather than my car (but who is not actually good at biking or navigating), this has been super helpful.
Got me back on my bike after 6 years of fear.
I had a couple close calls a few years back, and it put me off riding in Denver for a very long time. Finally resolved to get back to the joy of cycling last month, and this app has made all the difference. My house is surrounded by massive thoroughfares that happen to have unprotected bike lanes painted on them, and I’ve never felt safe on them. I’ve felt strangely trapped in my neighborhood because of this issue.
This app showed me a brilliant cut through at a local that put me on safer neighborhood streets with virtually no motorists. That alone is worth 5 stars. I genuinely have some peace of mind when I’m biking now.
And the gamification aspect is fun.

Essential for safe routes
I didn’t know about the concept of low stress routes until I used this app, but I won’t ride without it now!
I appreciate how not every bike land is low stress, and not every low stress segment is a bike lane. I also appreciate the community notes and updates to continuously improve the map.

Why ride in “bike lanes” on busy streets when you can ride in neighborhoods instead???
Your best bet for sane biking directions in the US.
If you’ve ever wanted to bike somewhere in town, looked at G.Maps and thought “uh, nope!” then Bike Streets might find you a route that’ll change your mind. Especially if you live in a city where a local cycling advocacy group has put together a low-stress network, tested and refined by locals. Solid app for transportation cycling, and great at keeping you away from big busy roads.

A great crowdsourcing app to add, confirm, and comment on your city’s “chill” (aka low-stress) bike streets.
Actual safe biking directions
Google and Apple Maps always seem determined to take me on high speed dangerous streets. Bike Streets does a good job of keeping me on quieter side streets even if it’s a bit out of my way.
Very cool cycling app!
The app feels like it was written by cyclists who get what city riding is all about. The data is great, but the real innovation is “Wander”. I love just going for rides, and “wander” allows for aimless riding for fun and exploration. While you’re on your ride, you can see where you are in relation to the bike routes. It’s amazing to not have to have a destination, yet still track the route. I already wish it was ported to other cities!

Not what I hope
I downloaded the app hoping to get local bike maps as I’m new to Denver. Instead I had to create an account, accept terms to give away my info, and then be asked to pay $50 (!!!) for a fairly new app that just tries to gamify capitalist consumption. Now I can’t find how to delete my account.
It’s ok
Cool mission but not worth 50 a year in current state, doesn’t even go to golden. Good amount of crashing. Will continue to just look up routes online and send to my Garmin.

Awesome Ride Logger
I love the app and the mission. My only suggestion is to somehow have an auto shutoff when you are stationary for a bit. I forget to hit end on occasion and wind up with some 12 hour rides.
Cannot use without giving email address
I don’t want an account. I don’t want a newsletter. I don’t want my personal information to be given to advertisers. I just want to look at a bicycle map.

Not good
A good idea in theory, but it crashes every 30 seconds and you have to pay to use it. Not worth the purchase since it crashes so much. 30 seconds is not an exaggeration, I’m being literal
