Ever since update I cannot login after it kicked me out. Get a failed token request

I love the app and many people in the community who offer great tips and information. I notice recently I was signed out without my request. I attempted multiple times to log in and this is the response:

It used to be bloated, laggy, and buggy. Now it’s stopped working altogether and won’t let me log in.

Sub forum disappeared
Sub forums seem to disappear. E.g e82 1m forum there were some subforums under it, cant seem to find them now pls fix

I am using the latest v7.0.4 and the app keeps logging me out as soon as I login.
Real source for BMW enthusiasts
Love the app and find forums more useful than other sources. I only give it a 4 star due to not being able to reset the password on the app. Would for sure come baby to update when this feature could come available.
Latest big fix created a major bug!
Ever since the latest update, every time I leave the app it signs me out and I have to log back in. Really annoying. Please fix!
Update: At first I was happy to see an update to the app today, but things are actually worse now. I signed in yet again and the app spontaneously signed me out while I was still in the app. It’s like they’re trying to drive users away. 🤦🏼♂️

Great Community for BMW Fans
The app and forum backend have been undergoing a lot of under-the-hood changes recently (here in early 2026). During all the backend updates, the app’s maintainer has been very responsive to bug reports and transparent about outages and temporary hiccups.
The BMW-dedicated community here on BIMMERPOST is great! It’s a bunch of folks passionate about their Bimmers and I’ve learned so much from them!

Always buggy
This app always has issues. Since I’ve had it a year ago, images don’t load properly, any YouTube links don’t play. Now with the recent update, anytime I sign in and close the app, I need to resign in each time. Wish there was a better alternative.
No forgotten password recovery
How do I reset my password. The app updated today and failed to re-log me back in and now I can’t because I forgot my password.

Constant bugs
Constant bugs pictures don’t populate keeps stating error and never gets fixed, doesn’t matter if your on WiFi or cellular won’t load pics
Images and youtube links not loading
Some images and all 100% of YouTube links added to threads are not loading. I’m using an “iPhone 15 pro” with iOS 26.3.1. This is not an “iOS” issue; it’s been this way for a while. In fact, it’s a defect in the bimmerpost iOS app.

I can't load the app, whats wrong with it? I have 5G, WI-FI, they are working all the apps, but not Bimmerpost. "Could not form a connection"

This appears to be a media negotiation or codec support issue within the in-app player (likely WKWebView), potentially related to recent iOS media framework changes. The failure occurs across multiple threads and video hosts. App offload/reinstall does not resolve it.
Safari uses the full native media stack and succeeds, while the app’s WebView fails to initialize playback. This suggests deprecated APIs, missing media permissions, or incorrect handling of modern streaming headers.
Please review in-app video playback implementation for current iOS compatibility. Restoring functional embedded video support would significantly improve usability.

Great community, terrible app
App won’t even load half the time. Says “no internet connection” when I have amazing signal and every other app on my phones functions perfectly. Hard to even get into details when I can’t use the app often. Please fix it.
Random Connection Errors
Lately the have will freeze, or I’m not able to make connection. A error message says, unable to make connection appears. I’ve tried various options to reset the app. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Its great when it works, but it doesn’t last anymore.
