It’s Gone Downhill
I used to like the app but not anymore. I used it for years to help drift off to sleep or as part of my meditating. I paired the binaural beats with rain sounds and it was perfect. But now every time I open the app it insists I pay for it when what I need is free. I did try the paid version, I was charged but was never given premium access. There was no one to contact so Apple just refunded me. Surprisingly, I paid about £2.99 (i think) and that was for lifetime access, just a few days after Apple refunded me the price jumped to £4 or £5/month 😱
The rain sounds are now “premium”, which is rather annoying. I’m guessing whoever made the app ended up selling it or something because all it wants is paid users. I’d happily pay for something if I could benefit from the premiums services but not at the cost they want.

App was perfect
The app was perfect until they updated it and now it’s completely different and useless. It was free and now you have pay to use it. Wish I had never updated it. Oh well, find something different.
Loved before it changed
You changed it and now the timer does not work. I use it to time my meditations - it was straightforward and now it’s frustrating. Where are the instructions?
Well designed and useful app
I am still evaluating the app and so far I like what it does. Good design means no wastage.
Bought the full version to support the developer and in hopes that he can afford to keeps its design true to its current small number of perfect features philosophy.

Scam
Do not download free trail, it stated it would alert me prior to charging and it didn’t. I’ve sent several emails for refund and have not heard back. I highly recommend you do not download this app!
Nag Screen Now Included
I have all the features I have ever needed from this app. Keep bugging me about “premium“ features each time I open the app and watch how fast I delete it and remove 2-3 stars. Go bother *new* users with that.
Even at 2.5 that humming in the background bothers me.
Maybe music instead of nature sounds would cover up that humming in the background. I just cant stand it, let alone go to sleep.
It does not work on iPad air 4th with iOS 26.4
Installation is possible, but it does not work on the iPad Air as of 22 May 2026.

何年も使っていましたが……
睡眠時のお供としてもう5年以上使っています。ここ最近、タイマー機能のマイナーチェンジやビート以外の音を流すことのできる機能がつき、容量が重たいのかスマホが熱暴走してしまいます。寝ている横に置いているのですが、スマホの熱さで目を覚ましてしまうほどでした。タスクキルをしたらすぐ熱が治まったため、こちらのアプリで熱くなったと思います……。熱暴走の点もそうですし、以前のシンプルかつ機能的な部分が好きだったため、こちらのアプリはアンインストールいたしました。バイノーラルビートはとても良く、寝付きが悪い私には合っていたので、様々な機能が使えてスマホの容量に余裕のある方にはピッタリかと思います。

Used to be great. Mixes with other apps and so you get your beats with whatever meditation track you want.

what happened?
loved this app for years. then the rain randomly stopped. there is now zero sound other than the frequency. i just want the default rain sound back!
Good for focus work
I use it regularly to focus on work. New research coming out about benefits of 40Hz audio stimulation to reduce brain plaque. Something to think about
Disappointing changes
I have used the app for years and once paid for the everything bundle of in app purchases. Have since come to use the app and lost all access to the features I once paid for. I am very disappointed and feel misled. I understand that apps and pricing models must update with time and popularity but at the very least honor your original customers that helped you get to that point

Confusing
I don’t review apps at all, but have to for this. The free trial is very confusing, especially how to stop it. My free trial consists of 2 wavelengths and I can’t get anything else. Trust me I’ve tried. Now I can’t stop the free trial. I tried all I know how to stop it so please help.
