It kinda works, I think..
Moreover, this is some very new and as yet highly theoretical concept, IMO. And the better your headphones are, generally, the better it is likely to work. (Don’t use earbuds. Just… take this one on faith). Like when your math teacher one time, just one, suggests the class “just accept on faith the fact that any number raised to the power of 0.0 will always equal 1.0. Yes, to include all negative numbers as well as all positive.” (And hopefully he is not then lynched for heresy).
I’m quite unconvinced it is worth what the developer sells the app for, even at the (eventually) cheapest price based on a year’s subscription paid initially, not “just” month-to-month.
Simple interface with great features

It’s Gone Downhill
The rain sounds are now “premium”, which is rather annoying. I’m guessing whoever made the app ended up selling it or something because all it wants is paid users. I’d happily pay for something if I could benefit from the premiums services but not at the cost they want.
Response from developer
Thank you for being a longtime user and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re sorry for the frustration this caused. Our goal with the recent update was to introduce a new Premium tier for the new functionality we’d built while preserving the existing experience for our longtime users. Unfortunately, software is complex, and it appears some functionality was unintentionally affected during the transition. We sincerely apologize for the disruption. We believe those issues have now been resolved. Rain has been restored as a free option for everyone, along with two ocean soundscapes, so users can experience more of the soundscape library. If you’re still experiencing anything different, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing from you so we can investigate further. We’re also sorry to hear about your purchase experience. That’s certainly not the experience we want anyone to have. Regarding pricing, we’ve tried to strike a balance that allows us to continue maintaining and improving the app while remaining competitive with similar apps in the market. We know not everyone will agree with where that balance lands, and we truly value hearing different perspectives. If you have ideas or feature requests, we’d love to hear them. You can submit feedback or upvote ideas from other users here: https://binaural.upvotyfeedback.com/ Thank you again for supporting the app over the years. Feedback like yours genuinely helps shape where we take it next.
