About

Most collection apps hand you a spreadsheet. This one hands you a binder. Open Binder Builder and there's a real binder sitting on the desk in front of you. Pages turn under your finger and settle with weight. Tilt your device and the holo cards catch the light and shift, the way foil actually does. Every rarity gets its own treatment: golds glow gold, rainbow rares ripple with color, illustration rares shimmer edge to edge. Pull a card off the page to hold it up close, spin it, look at the back. It's your collection on a shelf instead of in a list. Behind that binder is a complete, unofficial fan-made tracker for Pokémon TCG collectors, built by a collector and given away free. TRACK Search or browse every set, card by card. Log each copy separately with its own condition and grade, so four copies of the same card can each be what they really are. Watch set completion fill in as you go. Build a wishlist with target prices. Organize anything into custom groups, and see collection stats and a value trend over time. ARRANGE Your binder is yours to curate. Tap any pocket in 3D to place, swap, or remove a card. Sort pages by set, name, value, or rarity in one tap. When it looks right, export the whole binder as a PDF or images to share. SCAN Point the camera at a card and it's recognized on device in about a second, with its price right there. Keep going and clear a stack fast. Or photograph a whole binder page and add up to nine cards at once. Recognition happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad; camera frames are never uploaded. PRICES Live market data from TCGdex, including TCGplayer market price and Cardmarket trend. Optionally link out to eBay sold listings for a real-world sanity check, or add your own eBay API keys to see active-listing prices from inside the app. TRADE Log a trade card by card and watch the fairness meter balance as you add to each side, so you know where a deal stands before you shake on it. Keep a running profit-and-loss history of everything you've traded. ALERTS Set a price alert on any card and get notified when it crosses your target, plus optional reminders when a new set releases. Alerts are generated on device. No server, no account, no cost. BACKUP Export your whole collection to a readable JSON file any time, and import it back. Optionally back up to your own private iCloud database and restore it on a new device. Your data is yours; it never passes through anyone else's server. FREE, AND ACTUALLY FREE No account. No sign-up. No ads. No subscription. No paywalled features waiting behind a trial. No analytics, no tracking, no data collection of any kind. Everything described above is in the app the moment you install it. iPhone and iPad, iOS 18 and later. Card data from TCGdex (tcgdex.dev). Card images are copyright The Pokémon Company. Prices shown are estimates aggregated from third-party marketplace data. They are not offers to buy or sell, they may be delayed or inaccurate, and they should not be relied on as appraisals. What's New in Binder Builder

1.1

September 24, 2026

Version 1.1 Scanning works properly now. The camera was reading cards upside-down internally, so most scans missed. That's fixed: point, hold, done. Safer with your collection • Scanning a page, tapping "In collection" or quick-adding no longer quietly removes extra copies you'd logged. If a tap would remove graded or annotated copies, you're asked first. • Page scans save the printing that actually exists (no more "normal" Charizards that were only ever holo). • Turning on iCloud backup can no longer overwrite a newer backup. If there's already one in iCloud, you choose which copy to keep. • Restoring a backup or importing JSON takes effect straight away, with no relaunch. • Trades remove the copies you actually traded, not whichever one was listed first. Alerts and prices • Price alerts check fresh prices before deciding, and show up even while the app is open. • Turning off release reminders now actually cancels them. • Prices can be typed with a comma or a period, whatever your region uses. • Your own eBay keys now show active-listing prices, as promised in Settings. The 3D binder • "Open in 3D" always shows the binder you picked. • Cards can't get stuck in mid-air or duplicated when you tap during a page turn. • Motion sensors only run while the binder is on screen, which saves battery. • Reduce Motion is respected: the foil holds still and the camera cuts instead of swooping. • VoiceOver can read the binder and turn pages with a swipe up or down. Plus a link to the privacy policy and support page in Settings. Something off? sand_paints0g@icloud.com. I read every message.
