The Biodecon Medical Tracking App allows users to track equipment use and match this with High Level Disinfection cycle data following equipment disinfection. The App uses individual QR codes that contain item specific information such as Serial Number, Product Name, Model/ID and Location to capture all relevant details from the equipment and disinfection process. QR codes are allocated to each piece of equipment involved in the disinfection process and are scanned via the camera function on a mobile device. Details captured from these QR code scans are sent to Biodecon for collating in to batch reports that are issued to the end user for record keeping and auditing. A maintenance facility in the App allows for additional data updates of details such as consumable lot numbers and expiry dates. The Biodecon Medical Tracking App ensures compliance with the latest traceability guidelines and avoids the risk of lost or false data entry. The App is simple and easy to use and the speed of data capture will save staff valuable time.
