Once installed, your Bionic Reading® Fonts appear system-wide under Settings→ General→ Fonts→ My Fonts. You can use them in any app that offers its own font picker. On iPhone and iPad: • Apple Pages, Keynote, Numbers • GoodNotes • Procreate (on iPhone: Procreate Pocket) • and many more. Additionally on iPad: • Affinity Designer, Photo, Publisher • Final Cut Pro for iPad • and many more. Whether an app supports custom fonts is always up to that app. WHERE THE BIONIC READING® FONTS DON’T WORK. Apple doesn’t allow custom fonts everywhere. They definitely don’t work in: the system interface (Home Screen, Settings), Apple Notes, Messages/iMessage, Safari, Apple Books, or virtually all social media and messenger apps such as Instagram, TikTok, or WhatsApp – these apps always use their own, fixed fonts. Currently, they also don’t work in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, since these apps don’t support custom fonts – on iPhone and iPad alike. WHO IS THE APP FOR? For everyone who reads and writes a lot – on iPhone as well as iPad. For school, university, work, and creative projects in apps like Pages, GoodNotes, or Procreate. Many people with ADHD, dyslexia, or other reading difficulties report that Bionic Reading® helps them grasp and understand content faster.
