Love this game

I literally love this game with all my heart. This game is literally my comfort zone and happiness. I’d play this game for the rest of my life. such a perfect experience and wonderful game. It’s cozy without being too cozy, doesn’t get boring and repetitive ever, the events are fun. Everything about this game is well thought out and well developed and literally every aspect is fun to play.

Love the game hate the panda

As much as I love red pandas and birds I am so sick of the red panda in this game.. I’m sick of having to pop bubbles in order to get points and most of the time you can’t even pop them. I just want cute little birds so I can collect them, but this ruins the fun of collecting birds. .. I do love the other guy when you grow the plants, it’s like the ant event in the other flutter game and so much easier

So much wasted potential.

Devs, I really hope you read this and take some of these critiques into consideration. This could be one of the BEST idle/collector/cozy mobile games on the market, if you just tweak a few things. I’ve played other Runaway games like Pond Life and Old Friends and they are amazing, yet Bird Kind is my favorite despite having all of these critical gaming flaws. I hope you can change this.

First, the Melodia. The Melodia system is so messed up. My BEST birds that are fully maxed out do not produce NEARLY enough Melodia for me to progress at a decent enough pace. Either the birds need to produce more Melodia, and by more i mean almost DOUBLE the amount, or things need to cost less. With expanding, it would take me genuinely YEARS to unlock the entire forest and that’s assuming i actually play the events enough to unlock every single bird AND feed all of them to max them out. The expanding system sucks, it’s way too expensive and i do NOT like paying 5 times to unlock an area. It should be 1 payment per 1 bush, that’s final. Additionally, I want to max out my birds so I can get them to make more Melodia. And yet, the feeding system sucks. You get the most gnats for your time if you pick the 30 second option, even with your flowers upgraded. That is so frustrating. I am not checking this game every 30 seconds to do that. The flowers need to be producing more gnats, and it should actually be worth it to use your precious Melodia on them. I saw another review critiquing this and they did all of the math to prove how impossible it was and the developers didn’t reply to it. Please take that into consideration.

The events absolutely suck. They really don’t feel worth my time at all. The dream event is especially frustrating it is almost impossible to complete without paying! Now i don’t mind paying for games, Im happy to support the team but it doesn’t even feel worth it to spend money because all of the in app purchases feel not worth it at all! Learn from a really successful game, Hay Day. The events in that game are super easy to complete without spending money or an excruciating amount of time micromanaging everything in the game. They also offer a “Farm Pass” which just gives you even more prizes additionally, but you don’t NEED it to win good prizes.

Now this game would be so much better with more multiplayer features. I can’t even look at my friends forests just to look at their birds, why?? Again, take it from Hay Day, which has “Neighborhoods”. players can friend each other and manage their neighborhood, and participate in multiplayer events together where we all must work together to compete against other neighborhoods. A similar feature would be awesome for this game, you could call it “Flocks” and invite friends to one and participate in different events together, trade eggs or Melodia with each other, etc. This would seriously make the game so much more engaging and I guarantee expand the player base. I’m playing with my dad and boyfriend and we can’t do anything together, only occasionally share gifts. When my dad gets a cool new bird I can’t go visit his forest I have to go look at his phone. That is such a critical mistake.

The game generally gets super boring fast. Birds should interact with each other and the environment. I think if you max out a bird all the way, after merging it and feeding it, you should be able to name your birds. Also, I think each individual bird should actually make its real life calls and sounds? That feels like a no brainer. Hearing the same 5 bird calls over and over despite having tons of new birds in my forest makes the game feel dead and lifeless. Also, the NPCs or other animal characters give the same dialogue and it’s super boring. I don’t feel connected to any of them, they do the same thing over and over and the game has no overall story to it. I just can’t connect to anything in the game, i only care about getting different birds because I want to 100% the game for fun and i’m a birder IRL.

Overall, this game is beautiful, and it is addicting and fun to play. But it has major flaws that NEED to be fixed. PLEASE developers, fix what the players are ALL begging you to fix or at least make some tweaks. This game has so much wasted potential and it’s so sad, I love Runaway games and i love this game specifically. But it needs to be tweaked!

I need more legendary feathers from summoning pool

So I have a 10% legendary feather and I can’t use it and we need. A better spawn rate of legendary feathers so I can merge more and I need large feathers

Get this game!

This game is so satisfying! But it takes a long time to incubate eggs. My longest one has been 40 minutes. All pictures of the birds that are shown are really hard to get. But overall great game

Response from developer

Thank you so much! 🐣 The rarer birds do take patience to attract, as the right Enchanted Feathers from Soren the Enchanter Fox can make a big difference in what you summon. Keep exploring and collecting, the rarest birds are worth the wait!
