Continues to charge after cancellation

I cancelled my subscription but the app continues to charge the weekly fee, even though it shows I have no active subscription in the app.

Manipulative rating and high cost

I downloaded the app because I was overjoyed at the concept. The app asked for a rating pretty quickly, which I declined because I hadn't actually used the app yet. The next screen is the subscription options which are frankly absurd prices for an alarm app, no matter how fun the concept. $70 for a year or $7 a *week*! Of course the weekly price is to make the yearly price look reasonable but it isn't.

Relentless

Deleted the app and the alarm still goes off… can’t get rid of it now

Why offer the “basic” category if you can’t even select it?

Don’t let it fool you, this is a PAID app. You are forced to purchase the subscription before you can even use the app. There is no free “basic” version that is available. Why would anyone spend money on something you wont even let them try first? Very predatory.

Uninstalled and still goes off

As the title says, I downloaded this app, but uninstalled when I realized it cost money. Now I have an invisible alarm that goes off everyday at 7. Hence my 1 star review at 7:02 on a Saturday…

No free version?

I can’t get past set up because there’s no way to decline the paid version. I didn’t even get a chance to try the free app out before it’s forcing me to buy the plus version. I set up the alarm answer all the little questions and before I could actually hit continue the pop-up thing came up for me to buy the premium version with no way to close out of it. It’s a shame, I was excited to try this to see if it would actually get me out of bed in the morning.

Weekly Charge?!

I was willing to pay $5 a month, and thought that’s what I was doing. Turns out this alarm will charge you WEEKLY!!! And Apple is denying a refund on any of the $20 I spent this month on an alarm. Be warned!

Great app with some minor fixes

Love the idea of this app as someone who is trying to improve my bird song knowledge. My main issue/constructive feedback is that with the guessing feature, while it plays the birds in your region if you’ve selected that setting, the options to select when guessing are not and so it’s easy to guess the correct answer. Eg I have it set to British birds and this morning was woken up to a European goldfinch (great!) but this correct answer was given between American Robin and another US species, therefore I didn’t have to think too much to guess the correct choice. If this is fixed I’d love the app more! Although cheaper subscription would be awesome, as someone who works in conservation I sadly don’t have this budget to spare on an alarm. Otherwise I love this app!

Ridiculous

Stupidly expensive. This is ridiculous to pay $50 a year for an alarm… I miss when apps could be fun and free

No free option

They advertise a free option but you can’t get past the subscription page.

Paywall?

App sounds good and interdicting for waking up more calming but for over $20 a month is absolutely crazy for a bird sound effect.

Need to be able to change the region

It asked if I wanted my region, and I said yes, but the very first bird not in my region. I looked at the list of birds that they had for my region, and I’ve never heard of any of them. There seems to be no setting set up so that you can select a region like the southeast. That is a bug that needs fixing.

Response from developer

Hi Sandra! You can now select your region when editing your alarm. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Amazing!!!

Not only do the alarms make
My days better, they help
Me tremendously jump start my day! Thank you! Love y’all! ♥️✨♥️✨🦉🦜🕊️🐦‍🔥

Free trial not free

App says you can sign up for a free trial (no payment now) but then charges you when you confirm. To be allowed to guess the bird song is £5/ week or £50/ year. Absolutely ridiculous amount.

Ridiculously expensive

I suppose there are some ppl who can afford 50£/year for bird alarms they probably are not the same people actually stopping the devastation of ecosystems birds enjoy.

Charged for account

Was told there was a 7 day trial period but I was them charged for the annual subscription for 50$

Alarms continue after deleting the app

I deleted the app weeks ago but there is still alarms going off on random days at random times. How can I fix this?

Not free

Won’t get

No available free version

I’ve seen the ad on instagram. Very happily I downloaded the app, immediately went through a quiz that wasted my time just to say that I could have a 80% off deal for a yearly cost!! 🫩I don’t pay for apps and I wanted it to be free. It’s a really good idea for an app but I hate subscriptions, I’d pay a one time fee tho, if it’s understandably priced ofc, say like 25$ one time pay and I’m golden. I wish they would say whether you have to pay for the app or not to use it… y you always lyiiiinnnn 🕺🏼🙄

Why no free tier?

Guys, it’s a lovely idea but I’m not signing up to a subscription just to try it. I’d rather just vibecode it myself
