Birdblocks: Fun Flocks

A calm 8x8 block puzzle where every piece is made of painted bird tiles. Fill a row or column to clear it. There are no lives and no timers, and the whole game plays offline. Play on a plane or in bed with the lights low. If you already play block puzzles, here is what this one does differently. NOVA CORES Some pieces carry a glowing core. Clear a line through it and it blasts the 3x3 around it. If the blast reaches another core, that one goes off too, and each step of the chain doubles the points. Cores never expire, so you can bank them in a crowded corner and set them off when the board gets tight. SUPERNOVA Clearing lines fills a meter. When it is full, you fire a Supernova at any spot and wipe the whole row and column through it. The meter only charges through play. It is never sold. SECOND CHANCE One rescue per run. It gives you up to three lightning strikes, and you aim each one yourself. How much board you win back depends on your read of the position. DAILY CHALLENGE One board per day, identical for every player: same starting layout, same pieces. Reach the target score to mark the day. Missing a day costs nothing. WEEKLY PUZZLE AND MIGRATION Puzzles with one goal: place every piece you are dealt. A new Weekly Puzzle every week, plus a Migration library of 999 stages that starts at 15 pieces and ramps to 99. Every stage is generated from a known solution, so it can always be solved. If you get stuck, there is a better move to find. Progress never resets. BIRDS AND HABITATS You start with the Backyard flock: cardinal, robin, goldfinch, kinglet, kingfisher, chickadee and swallow. Three more flocks, Woodland, Jungle, and Nocturnal, unlock with coins you earn by playing. 14 habitat themes change the background, the light, and the effects around the board, from a warm sunset to a slow aurora.
