What happened to location?
Was really happy with this app but over the last few days, location data has disappeared. Not much point to it now. What happened?
Loss of functionality
Since the update the app has stopped showing the location details and the map no longer updates when zooming in despite using the refresh button (iPhone 15 iOS 18.6.2)
Can you please rectify as the app is useless otherwise.

New update
The new map isn’t as good. The pins would show what bird species it refers to so it was quick and easy whereas now you have to click and sift through each one. A quick task has now turned into a chore.
Issues since update
It's ok , but now won't refresh and not showing bird's that bird alert does in the same area like how it used to
Needs attention urgently please
I’m not interested in in what birds are about in Scotland…..how do I set up birds in my local area ? Advice please.
Decent update
I updated to the new app today. Bad news, it kept crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it now works as it should. It is a decent update, if not quite as exciting as the publishers promised.

Nice app but!
This app works very nicely providing bird sitings. Unfortunately it has the habit of losing its internet connection and freezes. Only reinstalling the app solves the problem which is a bit tedious. Hope it can be sorted.

Poor site, locally very little postings and some of days earlier, offered posts but never been used. Still find most info on Twitter

Good potential, but no exact location function on the iOS version unlike the other app. Would be 5* if it could be brought to iOS the same as other platforms

Great value for money bird news. Map within the app is good but let me down a couple of times in last week. So perhaps depends on input by bird finder
Great app
Really good for receiving news & seeing what's about. Links to google maps which is useful for getting directions. Would be even better if it was possible to get daily "first reports" for rarities to know whether something is still present

Have used this app everyday for a few years now. To me it’s a 5 star essential for birding.
Good app with fascinating information
I took out the generous free trial to this service to see if it might be of interest to an ‘ordinary’ birdwatcher. Actually, it is! Even if you have no interest in travelling distances to see unusual birds, it is great to know when something special turns up on your local patch, or to prompt a weekend away to an area that looks interesting. It’s also just fascinating to me to see what is appearing where even if I’m unlikely to see it. Thanks to the app I was able to time a weekend to Bempton Cliffs to try and see the albatross there to also take in another unusual bird, and I have seen (and also missed) birds on my own patch that I might have been unaware of.

Satisfied Customer
I find this app very beneficial, not for the purpose of racing here there and everywhere but to see what is about and what is local to me. It would be nice if people would enter the time of their sightings. All in all I am a satisfied customer.
No features as advertised
I don’t know if it’s me but the screen shots in the App Store show locations in maps and text. I cannot see anything like that in the app, it only gives the county. There is no map functions. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an in app fee to switch them on?
