Great idea, poor execution
Wanted to love this app because it has a lot of flexibility for any situation which is great. It doesn’t work well, tons of glitches. Going back to the Autism Pro app, it’s not perfect but much more dependable for keeping data.

Great idea, implementation needs work
I really need an app like this, and was very excited to find this. But, this one isn’t ready for prime time. It’s buggy.
1. Free version is literally just to get a tour of the app. I logged items for today and I can’t even view them in the app. Please just switch to a paid app. This trial version is not a good plan.
2. App has trouble updating since it seems web-based vs in-app. Even on a good connection, pages don’t load and you have to go to a different page then back to reload.
3. There’s a bug with autocomplete and previously recorded items. I logged an item on one day, then went to log it the next day hoping for a list of (typical entries). This list only showed once I started typing (which I thought was autocomplete). But then, the list showed up a few seconds later. Good idea, but code needs work.

Zero customer service - unbelievable.
I purchase the premium edition of the app for me, my autistic son and his aide. We have problems saving any critical data which was entered (the app is kind of useless if you are prohibited from saving data...don’t ya think🤔.
What’s worse.....is that NO-ONE in their “supposed” customer service department responds! Several of us have tried and on several occasions, yet still NO RESPONSE.
Apparently this is a chronic issue because many others have had the exact same complaint.
It’s pure negligence.

Hi there, I am sorry for the glitch in customer support. We made changes to our support structure to respond within 24h. We are working on updating the mobile and web apps. At this time, when you use the free mobile version you can save entires but don't see those on mobile, they are visible on the web app. We'll change that with the next update.

Cant log in no one responds to email!!
Its been 5 weeks since i paid my membership dues.. till now i cant log in into my account and no one answers emails for support!!! No phone number to call! Had high expectations but Very disappointed so far!!

Great app! I have been needing something easily accesible and quick to note sleeping habits, foods eaten, behavior issues, and any other special notes for the day! This app does it all!! So easy to use!!

Another fantastic update – keep them coming
Loving the updates on Birdhouse— keep it up! You guys are really continually making this app (on iPhone and the web) so so helpful for us parents. In particular, it’s been great to be able to track food so easily— all the other food tracking apps are too detailed. All I need is a basic, searchable record of what he ate and when, dietary infractions, and so on. This does that, and so much more, and now everything is customizable! It can function differently for everyone I care for in the app so it’s tailored to everyone’s unique needs and requirements.

This app is wonderful! I was getting frustrated tracking behaviors and therapies by hand in a binder. Now that I use this app, I wonder how I ever got by without it! With the ability to note the exact time of a behavior, meltdown, or activity" the spot and submit it as quickly as jotting it down on paper (or perhaps faster!), I can keep data on the go. I recommend it tovall of my ABA peers.

MOST USED, BEST APP, I HAVE!
WOW! I thought it was FABULOUS when I first got it over a year ago, NOW, this latest version is PERFECTLY FABULOUS! It's so SIMPLE to log things, with the new "smart" technology, I can log so quickly. YES, I log about 400 items a WEEK for my son. Can you remember 400 things your child did, took, felt, ate, how they slept or even their BM's? Probably not, but BIRDHOUSE CAN! I LOVE BIRDHOUSE! And, NO, I'm not on my phone all day either. I can log so fast, it's effortless:) It has helped keep me on the right path to recovery for my child. Thank you Birdhouse Team for always improving the most used, best App, I have on my phone:)

Yes, I have an Autistic child and this App is absolutely AMAZING at helping me record/track everything with a simple quick touch...but even if my child wasn't autistic, I would still use this App! Every parent should keep track of these things with their child/children! It's the most important tool to parenting. You can easily share with teachers, doctors, family, etc information that is helpful in understanding a child. How does food effect mood? How much sleep is your child really getting? Did you remember to give your child their vitamins? Has your child had a BM today? These are all things a parent of any child should know. Yes, it's even MORE important to us parents with Autistic kiddos. Wonderful App. I don't know how I lived without it:) UPDATE(12/23/14); yes, the App is getting better & better! It was great from day 1, in the past 3 months, this App just continues to fix any "bug" & always is adding new features! Thank you!
Update(5/15/15) still use this App everyday. Couldn't live without it. It's amazing how much Birdhouse continues to improve, create and expand this MUST HAVE APP! I will say it again..EVERY PARENT NEEDS THIS APP! You will love it:)

All in one place!
Another great update! It's so helpful to be able to create any mood I want- makes it even easier to keep track of my child's behavior. Still really loving this app and how much more organized I feel. I tell everyone who's dr tells them to track things to use Birdhouse! It's so great to have it all in one place!

So helpful!
I want to stay organized and up to date with my care and tracking, but it has always been so difficult. The Birdhouse app and site make the job much more manageable and centralized, especially when on the go. It's always being improved, with new features I didn't even know I wanted that make the whole system even more useful. I can't say enough good things about it.

This is such an incredible tool. I wish someone would have come up with this sooner. It’s ingenious, efficient and aesthetically pleasing. Thank you Birdhouse.
So much Organization and Insight!
I just try to keep track of things here and there that I think are important; do my best to keep up with it, and just by doing that with this app, I’ve discovered so many little things that add up and have made a huge difference for my family. It’s so intuitive and easy, it really makes sense.

Birdhouse is a great app
I love this app and use it to keep up with a lot of my sons health issues and other things. It comes in really handy when I am giving my doctor a health update. It's easy to use from the iPhone too!
I LOVE this App!
This company is so responsive to the special needs community! I have been using Birdhouse for about 9mos, give or take, and have found it hugely useful when I track behaviors, eating, meds and therapies for my ASD/ADHD/PANDAS child. This app makes me feel more organized, especially as it relates to making sure my dd8 has been given all of her meds and supplements. Also, when I have appointments at various drs, and they ALL ask what meds my dd is on, I can whip out my phone, pull up that category (or Activities), and I have exactly what she’s on at any moment. And did I mention how responsive Birdhouse is to the needs of it’s customers? Seriously, WONDERFUL!

Birdhouse has been a wonderful asset for me. I use it everyday in a therapy setting, and it has proved to be beneficial. It allows me to collect data and use that data to better suit the needs of those I teach. Birdhouse has been an important stepping stone in helping those with autism reach their goals.

Perfect App for teachers!
I've been using the Birdhouse app for a couple of months now to keep track of my ASD students (moods, foods, behaviors, therapies, naps, potty times, etc). In addition to saving about a million pieces of paper, Birdhouse is a really quick and easy way to share all of the important daily information with my students' parents. Very user friendly...I've got the premium version and it is absolutely worth every penny. The Birdhouse staff (the "owls"!) are very friendly and quick to respond whenever I contact them. I highly recommend Birdhouse!!!
