Cannot find local birds
Looked up to common species in my area and they would not show up on the list and I could not add them.
Great App for the field
I'm a amateur bird watcher. Love this App. You always carry your phone with you, with the BirdLasser App I can log my sightings any time anywhere. Been using it for 4 years now, in Australia, Namibia and South Africa.
Corrections
Wish there was a better back-out option (back button or cancel) in stead of having to retrieve and correct or delete a record
Useless
#1. Unable to register. I just get a white window to click ok and nothing happens.
#2. If you are red green colorblind you cannot read the text on registration screen.
#3. The logon process using Facebook too giving a failed interface message.
It is a free apo with no help and you get what you pay for. Nothing.

BirdLasser
I am unable to produce a list of birds I have recorded to share on WhatsApp or email on my iPhone 8. It just gives a summary of total number seen for pentad. I can’t see anything on the black background when I am wearing my sunglasses.
Awesome and versatile birding app
Birdlasser is my go to app for birding. Rapid capture is the essence of any field tool. The Birdlasser search algorithm uses any short string from the English, Latin or some other names to bring up a list of matches. This gets around the problem of remembering exact spelling and hyphenation, name changes and avoids scrolling down endless dropdown lists to find your target. It’s not the only innovation but it’s a winner. This app is designed in South Africa to work with atlassing systems there but it works perfectly anywhere - I’ve used it in Mauritius, Reunion and Australia. It integrates smoothly with eBird.

This is an excellent app !! The team are very responsive to questions and suggestions. Experience is user friendly and extremely easy to use ! Would recommend to everyone- from the first time birder to the experienced twitcher !!

GPS Doesn’t Work
I like the concept of this, but in spite of allowing it to access my location and specifying that I am in the United States, it still thinks I’m in South Africa.
Facebook integration does not work
I am unable to log in with Facebook. I’m giving up as I have tried too many times.
iPad version
Is there an iPad version available ? If so please update the app to the latest iOS so that iPad users can download.!
Easy and Fun!
Had a few initial snags when I downloaded the app and did NOT give the appropriate permissions. My phone then decided to do its own thing and kept crashing the app. Long story short, its working now thanks to the amazing tech support from the developer himself. Amazing tech support and team. I highly recommend this app for all birders as you can make valuable contributions to ornithology by basically just keeping a trip list! Thanks nReality!
