Disappointing
What a disappointment. I bought this app for the calls. Of which there is none!!

Not worth the money
The extraordinary price led me to think that it was an excellent app. It is not.
While the list of birds is very comprehensive, the only way to find a bird is through a list of names, which means one pretty much has to know what the bird is one is trying to find. There is no search function at all, no way to find a bird through size, colour, shape, area etc, which for me makes the app largely useless.
Of most birds one gets two drawings, which I find very limited, some limited written information which I find not easy to take in and not well structured, a useful map of its distribution and a helpful recording of their call or song.

Not useful unless you already know the birds
Basically what the title says. There are no visual thumbnails for the species, and it is difficult then to know where to begin looking with no other information.
So disappointed
A decent field guide should help you identify birds. This absolutely fails. You already have to know the name of the bird to do a search. There are no helpful search criteria, like size, plumage, habitat, location. I gave up on identifying any new birds during my trip to the Middle East. A total waste.

Somewhat disappointing...
I bought this app mainly for the bird calls as I already have the book , but very few calls feature . Didn't get a terribly sympathetic response when emailed them about it !
