Only for expert birders
As a novice, I derived little value from this relatively expensive app. It is a list of Zambian birds that can be sorted by taxonomy or in alphabetic order, complete with photos and bird calls. However, the only way can identify a particular bird is by guessing at its taxonomy and then scrolling through the list one by one. Alternatively you can guess at its name and see if you are right. If you are right, then you probably didn’t need the app in the first place, and if you aren’t right, then you are none the wiser. In summary, maybe experts will find this app valuable but it isn’t much use to a novice.

Amazing birding app!
This is an amazing birding app with high quality photographs and bird call feature which you can’t get from a book! It also has excellent descriptions, breeding charts and area maps This app is extremely user friendly and is very useful for quick feild identification. Absolutely brilliant job!
Birds of Zambia
I have waited in anticipation for this app and it lives up to all my expectations and more. There is detailed text, clear identifying photographs, area maps and sounds for all our wonderful birds. This is a must buy for all of us birders living in Zambia and any visitors who come to our beautiful country.
