Fun for bird watching up close!
I haven’t had many issues. Sometimes it lags when connecting, and a few bugs that were fixed in the updates. Otherwise, it’s kind of neat to relax on my lunch break and see what’s going on at my feeders. I’ve pointed it at the other feeders so I can see them as well. Pretty good camera and app at this price point. I’d like to get a few more!

Poor signup procedure
A non-starter; won’t let me establish an account.
What good is it if you can’t connect to it
Everything worked fine for a little while and now I can’t connect to it when I use open the app and try to connect to my camera tells me server time out the videos that it takes for the birds are getting uploaded so I can view them, but I can’t connect to the camera to do anything. This is junk. Very strongly. Recommend get something different.

Love my Feeder!
I love my feeder it works great!!! The only thing about the app is you can accumulate points and now that I have enough points there is nothing in stock to redeem!
Hummingbird Feeder
Given all the complaints, I’d have thought that it’s a poor product. It’s no - it works as advertised, except I can’t get it to feed another iPhone, hence the 4 stars rather than 5. We’re quite satisfied with ours.
Will not connect
App is incapable of resolving the connection between the feeder camera and the network. I have a commercial grade ubiquiti wireless network, with full coverage all over my property and this app just cannot get the job done. Do not give this company a dollar or a minute of your time. Useless.
This app sucks
The birdhouse is amazing and has brought many little joys to our lives, but wow does this app suck. The app has so many bugs, it’s near impossible to utilize the “add friend’s device” feature, multiple error messages pop up nearly daily, and it is incredibly slow.
It’s super cute but app doesn’t work
I saw this bird feeder at my friend’s house and fell in love with it. I ordered one for myself and was so excited when I set it up however, the app is giving me a lot of problems. I can’t view the recordings, it just says loading. Also now when I open the app I get an error that’s written in Chinese. I’m getting disappointed 😢

Works Fine, Minor Issues
App works just fine, though when trying to download and share videos the format doesn’t seem to be compatible.
Had to buy an antenna with my feeder to ensure it worked properly, wasn’t included in the box.

Terrible app
The purpose of having a digital camera bird feeder in my mind is to keep track of which birds have visited. It sucks to click on every single video that says it saw a bird, and then click again to see if AI can identify it. I’d rather have a library of birds that have visited, with their picture next to it! Pain in the butt!

What good is the birdfeeder if the camera/app is garbage?!
The BirdSnap camera/app is absolute garbage! What good is it to have such a cool product for people who love nature just to disappoint? The camera/app should work, otherwise it’s It is just a a snazzy looking bird feeder.
And don’t come at me about my Wi-Fi being poor. That’s not the case, I have excellent coverage. It is the camera/app that is absolute garbage.
A close friend of mine gave this to me as a get well gift because I am homebound. I don’t have the heart to tell her how awful BirdSnap is. At this point I should just let the squirrels eat all the bird seed.

Horrible I phone app
The camera feeder itself is great!! The App however only works occasionally. And it’s a waste of time to try and reach out to the company because they always have an excuse on them being out of office. It’s nearly impossible to get the live stream to work on the iPhone.

UNABLE TO SHARE QR CODE.
App says you can share it with 4 other people. However, Device Sharing QR goes unrecognized. App and camera work fine ( so far ). However, my wife can not share it with me. We followed all troubleshooting guidelines but nothing works.

Got this as a Christmas gift. Was excited to set it up. The feeder itself seems fine and of good quality. The app however is complete junk. Can’t even set up an account. Emails to the company go unanswered.

Can’t Sign Up
I received a BirdSnap for Christmas and the app will not let me sign up. I have tried updating, installing, reinstalling, removing spam filters, etc. I just get an error and X every time I get to “send verification” step. I tried using chat for help on the website- no one answered. Very disappointing.

Not able to install app on iPhone. Repeated error message
Would love to use but can’t log in
Got bird camera for my birthday but it won’t send the verification code so I can’t even sign up. With no way to view without the app I’ll just have to send it back :(
