Prompts to help start, things to remind you to be grateful and what motivates you. Ability to add pictures to the entry and to have separate journals. For love, for venting, pets, kids, etc. so many options. I’m only beginning using it but so far, I love it.
Original App > This
The original photo editing app was my absolute fave. It updated to this gratitude journal mid subscription. Yes, it still has the editor but it’s all done through a counter-intuitive journal concept that is annoying if you’re just there to edit, doesn’t easily allow saving, and crashes. No hate I just miss the app I loved and wish there had been a heads up.

Me gusta esta app, escribo muchas cosas de las que pienso o quiero compartir con algunas personas, casi nunca tengo título para lo q escribo por eso siempre pongo una foto para acordarme del sentimiento de lo q escribo, le doy un 3/5 porque no tiene variedad para cambiar las letras por si las quieres poner más oscuras o cambiar el tamaño para los títulos de diferentes temas o yo no lo e encontrado jajajaja. pero me gusta la app, la recomiendo.

I’ve been in therapy for several years and nothing has really stuck, but seeing how talking to myself and talking things out and feeling like I can be unconditionally honest without judgment has been extremely helpful. I also feel like it’s a great way to use a video of yourself and write at the same time because I remember more what I write than what I say. Love the app if you don’t feel like talking to someone talk to yourself.

I love this app. Easy to use good prompts but not too forceful if you’re writing about something else. I’m enjoying it.
Bring back pink papaya
I really really loved the pink papaya app - you’ll probably find most reviews date back to when it was called this and not ‘birdy’ since using it under this name/brand (maybe it’s been bought by another company or simply they tried to add to their existing offering) their basics no longer work as they did. They had a very user friendly app, now it’s lost all intuition, I see this all too often with apps - it’s a real shame

I would never support a person who claims to not filter themselves, yet sucks money from people to do just that. It’s disgusting!
Love this app!
I absolutely love using some of the filters for my photos, especially 1984! I’ve never had any issues with the app crashing. I don’t think I’ve ever used an app where I actually like creating a journal entry quite like I do this one!

Recent Changes
I’ve LOVED the papaya photo editing for YEARS, however now it’s something completely different. It’s a digital journal now and photo editing happens to be a part of it. The app name changed, the setup is completely different, and getting to the photo editing part is slightly confusing.

This app has the best most natural looking filters. It’s so easy to use and has the most flattering presets. The fun casual journal is everything.

Therapy
This has been a really great way for me to journal. I know how beneficial journaling is, but it’s hard to do on paper. I love that this provides the perfect platform for it and the photos are just a perfect added bonus!
