BBJ is an excellent summary of Community Happenings and is well written read by extremely talented professional Journalist !

Needs to allow filtering by specific category

The online version of BBJ is great. However, the app is outdated. I can’t filter by category like I can on the online store. The app also signs me out randomly.

Same Problems Are Getting Old

Every Friday I can only get "free access" when I'm a paid subscriber. Gets very old to have to delete the app, reinstall, and try again. This morning after doing that it still won't let me download for free even though it shows "you are an active subscriber." You also need to auto-archive but provide a way for subscribers to look at issues. The WSJ does all this perfectly. Why not just fix this???

Edited JAN 2020

What is going on with the app? Today is the 17th and the app still has the issue from the 3rd. The last two months has been a struggle with the app with issues posting several days (and now over a week) late. I am a paid subscriber but have quit reading it on my iPad. Maybe I will time to read it when I get the paper copy in a few days.

Terrible App but Great Business News Source

This rating is for the App not the Business Journal Itself. There is not a search function for articles in the app (for paid subscribers). Let me re-state this: THOUSANDS OF INFORMATIVE ARTICLES AND THERE IS NO SEARCH FUNCTION. I am a paid subscriber. I called when I couldn’t find a way to search for a past article about a new client and was told (by the very nice lady) that I’d have to manually flip through the old digital editions in the app to manually scan for the article because there is not a search function in this news app, not even for the web feeds. Also, when you sign up for the app for the first time there are instructions for entering your account number to log in... but what it doesn’t tell you is that you either have to omit the first or last digit of the account number. (What?!) But it varies by users. So you have to call to find out which to omit. I love the Business Journal but the app is terrible.
