I’ll never forget

I’ve been using Birthday Countdown: CandlesUp for the last couple weeks mainly to keep track of family birthdays, and it’s been more useful than I expected. I like that I could import contacts quickly and set reminders a few days ahead instead of only on the actual date. The countdown view is oddly satisfying, and the widget has been helpful since I tend to forget dates unless they’re right in front of me. I also appreciate that the app feels lightweight and not overloaded with unnecessary stuff.

CandlesUp is for you if you actually care about making birthdays an event rather than just a notification you swipe away. If you just want a list of dates, your phone’s built-in calendar is fine. But if you want the "vibes"—the AI messages, the digital candle, and the sleek countdown—it’s the best in its class.

My review

I like the app and what they did with it. I really like how it goes to the last second on your birthday, I think that’s really impressive. I am kind of bumped that you can’t see other peoples birthday time tell the second just like my birthday. Also I love how it shows you your zodiac sign. Overall I really enjoying this app and will be telling all my friends about this.

Best Birthday App!!

I’ve been using another app but it’s not as exciting as this one! Has everything I need but could use a few things. I would like to be able to add like my children to it and they be able to do a list of gift wishes.

My rating

I like it, but I do not like how so many things are premium like I would like to be able to set a minimum of five notifications per birthday. And see stuff like my zodiac sign, etc. I do appreciate the app, but wish you could also save gift ideas to each person and it could use AI to type out a text that you could send that person on their birthday.

Love this

I really love how easily it imports all my contacts and the countdown widget is awesome for knowing exactly how many days are left. And the gift suggestions are a lifesaver!
