Only 10 entries for the free version
I wanted a simple app to track my birthdays. This app looked promising but as soon as I entered more than 10 people, it asked me to upgrade. There are other birthday calendar apps that allow for many more entries

Fantastic
Quite clearly a well designed, native-feel iOS app. It integrates well with Apple and comes across as if it is was a stock app designed by Apple. The developer has put thought into the user experience and simplicity and has succeeded at that. There is nothing I can fault.

Was using another app but it wasn’t maintained and the widget stopped working with iOS 26.
Seeing this app supported the new OS at launch gave me confidence to switch.

Wünschenswert wäre, wenn man direkt mit einem Klick an die Person einen Geburtstagsgruß senden könnte
Really good app, just make sure you turn on iCloud sync!
Sadly lost my data as I got a new phone and I hadn’t enabled the iCloud synchronisation within the settings. Developer reached out after I left a review to try to help, cannot fault the customer service! I will have to add my data back in manually but this is not a big problem.
Waste of time and money
Lost all my info when I got a new phone. I even paid for premium so I could store more birthdays. Waste of time and money.
Viel zu teuer
Man ködert mit 10 Namen bei uneingeschränkter App Nutzung. Aber 7.95€ für mehr . Es gibt vergleichbare Apps mit den selbe n Funktionen. Verstehe die Preisgestaltung nicht für eine App die mit wenig Aufwand programmiert wurde.

This app is hands down the best birthday app I could find, and integrates very well with apple, and feels like a system app.
Great customization, importing from contacts and to calendar, controls like any other apple app, and overall good.
The only downside is you can only add up to 10 people with the free version.

Can’t add more than 10 birthdays
I was so excited to have an app to organize bdays but this is so annoying because i cant have more that 10 birthdays stored in this app! if i want to get more then 10 i have to get birthdays+🙄

Hello, the Birthdays app offers several advanced features, has been updated more than 100 times over the past few years, and will continue to be regularly updated and improved in the future. You can try all features of the app for free. If you like it, you can upgrade to the unrestricted version with the one-time purchase of Birthdays+. I think that’s fair.
Updating review after months of usage.
Quality app that does exactly what you’d expect from a birthdays app. No personal data collected, no ads, great support and no rotten subscription models. I only wish more developers would take example from this guy. Kudos.

Despite paying for the full version, you still get the annoying pop up ads in the app.

Hello, there are no ads in the app. You may see a pop-up for a related app, although it only appears once and will not show up again.

Was able to list about ten birthdays, until it asked to pay for birthday+ the add more birthdays to the list.

Glückwünsche fehlen noch
Was mir für die App noch fehlt ist eine Integration von Glückwünsche.
Wenn jemand Geburtstag hat kann ich per Klick sagen welches Anschreiben Template verwendet wird und welche Technik. Also z.B. per SMS oder per Mail oder per Whatsapp.
