Offer “15% off” for app download, only got 8% coupon
Was given flier in store offering “15% off” for an in app order, if I downloaded the app. I downloaded the app, set up an account and was offered 8% off instead. Also, charging $5 for a single raspberry caramel out of your retail glass case and charging $15 for a box of 5 of the same exact candy, in the same shop, seems really petty for a luxury brand. Your store is new to our local mall and my husband and I thought we’d stop in to try a piece of chocolate each. (No free samples offered to us). $10+ later we have TWO small raspberry caramel candies. Your clerk never even mentioned the $15 boxes of FIVE of the exact same candy literally ten steps across the store. Not impressed. Will look to other chocolatiers that understand customer service and treat their customers better. Also artificial vanilla isn’t a luxury ingredient. Don’t like your business model.

Not what used to be
I worked for this company several years ago. The chocolates tasted like chocolate, now they have an artificial and cloyingly sweet flavor.
The reason I’m guessing is sugar is a lot cheaper than chocolate and flavorings are cheaper than real fruit however for the price they shouldn’t be skimping. I feel like this has a lot to do with the buyout from Chocolate chocolate chocolate whose chocolates are priced fair but are nowhere near the quality of what Bissingers used to be.
