Does exactly what I needed

I’ve been looking for a method to create high resolution trail maps. I live in the USA, and the USGS 7.5’ topo maps do not include many running trails that I would like to make for my university. I use this program to run the trails and obtain the trail data, and then seamlessly import it into the free QGIS to create beautiful maps. I can also overlay it with topographic elevation isolines, water features, roads, and structure data from the freely downloadable USGS maps. Very cool indeed. Thanks to Nick for explaining the process.

simply disfuncuntional

ok on the ipad but doesn't work on the mac.

Doesn’t”t work on MacBook Air

This is a clumsy difficult to use app. If you are using it on a MacBook Air the maps , when calibrated ,don’t show up.

No instructions, No support

Manual entry of waypoints. This app is a waste of time.

Response from developer

For instructions and support, see: https://nixanz.com/bitmap/ For automatic waypoint recording (“tracking”), use the left-most button on the bottom toolbar. I haven’t received any support request, but please do submit one if you still want help.
