Honestly, I have to say that Iâm still learning how to use this app. I love this app, it has a lot of value within it. I will admit I have learned a great deal from those videos in the app than I have in the 6 years I have been researching information over the internet, about bitcoin. However, I still donât have a full understanding of how the process of the payout works. Please can help me with this, I will be very grateful. Thank you.

I love this app itâs easy to use and you can earn real bitcoins. Plus they give you a tutorial study of whatâs btc and how itâs works and get a degree afterwards. I definitely will recommend this app to everyone!!!

Iâve been spending some time with the Bitcoinist app, and I have to sayâI like what theyâre building here.
The first thing that grabbed me is the presentation. It has a futuristic, almost game-like approach to Bitcoin mining, rather than feeling like another boring dashboard. It makes you want to explore and figure out what everything does.
One feature I particularly like is the Bitcoin Academy. Bitcoinist currently has a 31-lesson curriculum designed to teach Bitcoin and mining concepts, and the app can reward educational activity with Diamonds, its in-app currency. Bitcoinistâs terms confirm promotional Diamonds can be earned through things such as educational videos, missions, promotions and other qualifying activities.
Thatâs a cool concept:
LEARN â EARN DIAMONDS â EXPLORE MINING. đâď¸
One important clarification: your iPhone itself isnât doing the Bitcoin hashing. According to Bitcoinistâs App Store listing, the phone acts as the interface while mining is performed by remotely hosted ASIC hardware. Diamonds can then be used within the app to activate mining time.
I actually think that distinction makes the concept more interesting, because theyâre trying to combine Bitcoin education, hosted mining and gamification into one approachable experience.
Is everything perfect yet? No.
This still feels like a platform thatâs early in its development. The current App Store history shows major changes are still arrivingâthe app reached version 2.0 in Julyâand user reviews show both positive experiences and complaints about limitations or features that still need refinement.
But sometimes you can use something early and immediately see where the developers are trying to take it.
Bitcoinist has that effect on me.
The interface pulls you in. The Academy gives beginners something productive to do instead of just pressing buttons they donât understand. The Diamond system adds a little game-like incentive to learning. And underneath all of that is actual hosted mining rather than pretending your phone itself is somehow hashing Bitcoin.
Would I call it finished? Not yet.
Would I promise anybody theyâre going to make money using it? Absolutely not. Mining outcomes, costs and economics should always be understood before spending money.
But would I say itâs cool, different, and worth giving a try to see what you think?

took me a minute to get it
downloaded this out of curiosity and it took me a minute to understand what was going on lol. the phone isnt mining, its more like a control panel for hashrate running somewhere else. once that clicked the app made way more sense.
not gonna pretend i found a block or made any money. i just like the private pool idea and the academy videos were better than i expected. no random token being pushed every 2 seconds either.
still early and you can tell, but the direction is good. hope they keep it bitcoin only.

Hi! Payout addresses must be Native SegWit (bc1q) or Taproot (bc1p). If your wallet shows an address starting with 1 or 3, switch it to a SegWit/Taproot receive address (most wallets support this in settings) and it will link fine. Need help? Reach us in the app under Support.

App design is clean and looks pretty cool tbh, simple to use and offers video tutorials on how bitcoin works and what it is, they are A.I but who cares really, the videos are actually super helpful and explains stuff in easy to understand ways. Not as advertised
Despite having a free option your limited to what you can actually can do as a free user⌠meaning you do all the video lessons for diamonds and while mining diamonds as well after all is done you will need to invest far as I see. I see no other ways to get diamonds for free

Canât make purchase
The app wonât allow us to make purchases for mining even with update. The diamond purchases works fine but canât start mining.
