About

You save a place from a video and then never find it again. BiteVault fixes that. Share a TikTok, a Reel, a Google Maps link or a restaurant's own website, and the venue lands as a pin on your own map. So when you are standing somewhere new at lunchtime, you already know what is close. YOUR OWN FOOD MAP Every place you save becomes a pin. Eight venue types with their own markers: restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars, delis, dessert spots, street food and more. Tap the locate button and the map centres on where you are, so anything you saved nearby is right there. Tick off places you have visited, mark favourites, filter by what is open now, and switch between cities. Works across 20+ international metros, so your Tokyo list is ready before you land. RECIPES, EXTRACTED FOR YOU Share a cooking video and AI pulls out the full recipe: ingredients, step by step instructions, tags and a calorie estimate. It saves to your Vault the moment the import finishes, and a notification tells you when it is done so you can keep scrolling in the meantime. Recipe websites and pasted text work too. "TOP 5" VIDEOS, HANDLED Shared a roundup covering five venues at once? BiteVault detects it, extracts every venue, and lets you pick which ones to import in one go. COLLECTIONS YOU CAN PUBLISH Group places or recipes into a Collection and publish it as one link. Anyone who opens it saves their own copy, and when you add or remove something they get told. Useful for a city guide, a coffee list, or planning a trip with someone. ALLERGEN AWARENESS, PLEASE READ BiteVault scans extracted recipes for common allergens and includes a four tier gluten confidence rating that deliberately errs on the side of caution. It was built by someone whose partner has coeliac disease. Important: allergen detection is assistive, not medical advice. AI can be wrong, and video captions do not always tell the whole story. Always verify ingredients yourself before cooking or eating, especially if you have an allergy or intolerance. BUILT FOR ACTUAL COOKING - Offline cook mode: recipes are cached on your device, so the method does not vanish when the kitchen Wi-Fi does - Recipe scaling: cooking for two or for ten, quantities adjust - Shopping list and meal planner, kept on your device - Shared vaults: one shared library with a partner, sitting alongside your own SIMPLE AND PRIVATE - Sign in with Google or Apple, no new password to remember - Your Vault is yours: no ads, no selling your data - Dark and light themes, ten accent colours Stop losing the good stuff to your saved videos graveyard. Share a video, and it is saved to your Vault.

Try before you sign up. Import your first TikTok or Instagram video before making an account. Instant sharing on iPhone. Share from TikTok or Instagram and it imports straight away. Smarter gluten checks. A gluten-free label now needs real ingredient evidence. Warnings reach every flagged ingredient, and a re-check can clear one once you remove the ingredient. More imports work. Better TikTok caption reading, Instagram Reels that were wrongly refused, and taste.com.au, delicious.com.au and Coles recipes. Shared Vaults show what's inside. See the recipes and places in a Shared Vault, and take your own items out. Plan your week with more flexibility. Move a planned meal to another day, with Undo. A more reliable Kitchen. Two devices no longer undo each other's changes, and metric keeps flour and sugar in cups and spoons. Faster, tidier Places. The list shows about three venues per screen, and shared place collections now have a real map. Better recipe editing. Editing a recipe no longer strips the amounts from ingredients. Clearer errors. Failed imports say what happened, and buttons only appear when they can work. Smoother sign-in and billing. Sign-in errors show a message, and the paywall waits for your upgrade so you're never asked to pay twice.
