User reviews

Good

Please add widgets and the option to purchase a lifetime license. Overall, it’s an excellent application.

Response from developer

Thanks, Oleg. We’re glad you’re enjoying the app. Widgets are something we're actively working on. What would you want to see in them? Anything specific you’d find useful day to day? You can reach us anytime at support@bitremote.app. And about the lifetime license: while we can’t promise the app will work forever across every future platform or device change, we did add a one-time purchase option in v1.5.2 for people who prefer paying once instead of subscribing. Appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.

Functional questions

I don't know why, but the screen goes black for a long time when it starts, and sometimes it takes 30 seconds to enter the system.

Response from developer

Thanks for the review, and sorry about the slow startup. A long black screen was definitely not the welcome screen we had in mind. We addressed this in v1.5.1, so please update if you haven’t already. We appreciate you taking the time to point it out.

Does Exactly What It Promises

I’ve been using BitRemote – Sync NAS Downloads to manage download tasks on my home server and NAS, and I’m genuinely impressed with how smooth and reliable the experience has been. The app makes remote download management incredibly easy — everything is right at your fingertips, and it feels great to control my tasks from my iPhone, iPad.

The app already delivers excellent value, and BitRemote+ adds useful features like ad removal and premium client support. That said, I do wish there were a one-time lifetime purchase option in addition to the subscription — I’d happily pay upfront to support the developer long-term.

Response from developer

Thanks for the thoughtful review. We’re really glad BitRemote has been working smoothly for you across iPhone and iPad. We also understand the appeal of a pay-once option. While we can’t promise lifetime compatibility across future platforms and devices, we introduced a one-time purchase option in v1.5.2 for people who prefer buying once instead of subscribing. We appreciate your support.
